That authenticity is what makes the film so enchanting. That’s what Showalter is so good at presenting. His films – even in their overt quirkiness – never come across as anything but sincere. He doesn’t appear in The Big Sick. Nor did he write it.

The Greatest Showman
I loved this film, I was nearly put off by some of the reviews I had read but I'm so glad I decided to make my own mind up about it. Did I say I loved it, well I did, it was great, at one point in the film I wanted to get up and clap the only thing that stopped me is my daughter and grand-daughter would have killed me.
I will watch this film again and again and it is now one of my favourite films. A real feel good film with some deep underlying messages too.

Great action film
I really don't get the critic and low ratings for this film. This ticks all the boxes for an 18 rated film. Good to see things not watered down just to achieve a 15 rating. A film with close proximity fights to the death and shoot outs is going to be bloody!
I'd say it one of best action films in quite a while. It's a mix of a Bourne storyline and ideas with @Heat (1995) style shoot outs and fights featuring Iko Uwais from @The Raid (2011)
Personally I didn't find the plot confusing which has been mentioned in a few reviews and it has a neat twist as well.
If you like your action, brutal, gritty and with a bit more realism this is a film you will enjoy.

A Bad Moms Christmas (2017)
2017 | Comedy
Should appeal to the same — dare I say it? — demo that “Bad Moms” did, even though it’s not nearly as wild a comedy. “A Bad Moms Christmas” fills a niche, but as this series itself might say, moms deserve better.

I did read the book many moons ago and couldn't remember much of it. I heard this got good reviews so had to check it out. It stays faithful to the book.
It does well to keep your interest for a largely one location set film. A long with a twist that enhances the story, this is well worth checking out.

This album is so good it literally makes me cry and gives me chills every time I listen to it. It's great for both happy and sad moods. I'm not sure why this film didn't get better reviews from the critics but I'm glad I never listen to them because, while everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I loved The Greatest Showman and its soundtrack.
