Stay With Me was a lovely romance, with a likable hero and heroine. And also a nice secondary romance that almost rivals the main romance. I don't understand exactly why Sarah became the 'first' Sarah, and why she didn't just say that she's a different person entirely, but it doesn't matter much. I liked the reason why she was sent back and thought that was a nice touch. The story as a whole was very well executed and I can't wait to read the next. :)

Good not great
The format keeps this book from being great. First person present tense, again, is terrible. But in this book it is compounded by the fact that we read from 3 people's POV. "I" means three people, depending on the chapter. That was immersion breaking and holds the book back from greatness.

Otherwise, I loved the story, the characters, the magic. It was very good, and felt shorter than it was. It read fast, it was never dull. I'd recommend this book to anyone.

Excellent war film, very well done cinematics
Would highly recommend going to see this. Loved the first person aspect and the fact that it was one take. This made for a very immersive experience and I felt really connected to the characters/story.

Reason for not 10/10 is the fact that some of the shadow work I think was a bit wrong and didnt match the setting. Would have to watch again to confirm this.

I loved this book!

Mostly because they finally stopped playing games with each other and got together--WOOHOO!! but also because of how the group are growing as characters. Nava has come a long way from that rather unlikeable person she was in the first book and i love her now. She's snarky but fun and i love the commaraderie she has with almost everyone in the demon hunting squad. We're really getting to know them now and I'm so looking forward to the next one.

"I don’t remember the first time I read Goodbye to All That, but I do know that a little part of me thinks of it whenever I turn on the air conditioner. Didion is a big picture writer and a vital writer (On Self-Respect is required reading for any woman, Sentimental Journeys for any person). She’s a national treasure, but for me it’s the image of her taking a messy bite of a peach on the sidewalk that feels like the Didion I know."
