"Milla Jovovich is in it. It’s another one of those ones that’s based on a true story, like The Mothman Prophecies. They use a lot of found footage in it — well not found footage, but like cop car cameras and things like that. This is one of those movies that, you know, it will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. It’s horrifying."

"Munro is a touchstone for me, and she’s been my favorite writer for more than 25 years. This is the first book I read by her, when I was a junior in high school. Right away, I found in her work something that was recognizable to me—and, at the same time, I found some fictional alchemy that even now remains beautiful and inspiringly elusive."

I would really only give this novel 3 1/2 stars.

I really wasn't all that impressed with this novel. I felt that there was very little imagery in the novel. The descriptions were very poorly done in my opinion. I will say that I found the plot line very interesting and found myself wanting to learn more about the characters, even though I found them to be depthless.

I think this was a good start to a series. I am not sure if I will continue on in the series. I guess if I'm looking for a quick read I might pick up the next in the series.

Found I kept loving and hating this book simultaneously. It was compelling and, as I had correctly guessed the murderer from about a third of the way through the book wanted to keep reading to find out whether I was right or not.

However, I found the prose clunky with clumsy metaphors which felt shoehorned in at times. I also found the narrative of the protagonist Joseph tiresome at times, particularly when there were pious judgemental statements being made in a way that felt you were being preached at.

Overall I would say the plot was compelling and intriguing but the writing style lets the book down.

It was an OK read, but I found it a bit long winded and not really for me. Its unlikely i'll read the next in the series

The story is enjoyable but as an IT professional I have to admit I found some of the tech-talk in here a little hard to take!

I've been a big fan of Amazon for several years now. I've always found what I wanted on there and made good use of its recommendations system.

I figured out the killer half way through. It was still a good read and had interesting back stories

I loved the graphics throughout the movie and the characters. I was very happy while watching it and with the slight jumpy scenes, I found it enjoyable.
