Really Good Remake

I like the creative license taken by this remake. The new songs were good, and the costumes and sets made it feel more like France. However, the accents were all over the place, and some of Belle's backstory felt weak. But the characters were so complex and dynamic! Gaston and Le Fou became much more interesting and finally felt like real people.

I love claymation/stop motion, and I'm definitely a Wallace and Gromit fan, so I was excited to see this. The animation was good, and the plot was entertaining. Though, I'm not sure exactly how this will go over with US audiences, because there were a lot of jokes that wouldn't have seemed funny if one wasn't familiar with football/Premier League. Tom Hiddleston's French accent was completely hilarious, and one of the best parts, next to Hobnob.

Watched on Netflix with a title like this I had to watch and I thought it was really good it's french Belgium co production and for a horror comedy that's part hills have eyes part wrong turn and stick a bus of all girl volleyball team in the middle of it and it works. The cast is likeable even the bitchy one and for 75 min runing time had me in stichies all the way thru
