The Queens Corgi needs putting down

Wow what did I just watch.
It started well a cute and funny 2mins showing the new corgi arrive. The interaction between the dogs and the palace servants was good.

Trump shows up and flirts with a random woman which is cringy and just feels wrong
The animation of anyone outside of the palace looks rushed
Trump brings a final dog to breed with the queens corgi, so proceeds a scene where the queens dog is sexually harrassed whilst the American dog declares shes on heat and wants him.
Queens dog ends up in dogs pound where dog fights occur, one dog is dragged out after one such fight in a mess.
The animation of the other dogs is poor
Nothing fun or interesting in the final half hr.
It is a poor kids film, that poorly tries to insert adult humour that is just cringeworthy or in bad taste.
Avoid at all costs. The worst animated kids film I have ever seen... ever!!

Turn off your brain and enjoy
The most badass assassin the world have ever seen.
I've been introduced to the franchise when the second movie was released. I will review those later on. John Wick 3 was the first movie of the trilogy I watched in the cinema and what a brilliant experience. I'm not an action junkie but this movie is simply amazing. You can sit comfy, turn off your brain and enjoy the fun. The photography is just amazing, probably one of the best I ever seen in an action movie. The colours are vivid and NYC is just amazing. I will not write about the story because its a marginal part of this trilogy. They created a living and enjoyable world where you can lose yourself. The choreography and the fighting scenes are awesome and even if sometimes they can be too extreme (nearly funny to see) it will never be too much. Keenu Reeves. I really need to say anything else?

Excellent group game
One of the easiest to learn games, yet the most fun, games I've played. The cards are almost entirely self explanatory, and the huge amount of nods to the different variations and flavours of games (particularly Dungeons and Dragons) is brilliant.
Whether you fight the Level 8 Gazebo, the Level 1 Potted Plant, or the Level 20 Plutonium Dragon, the deals you can make with your friends and enemies can be almost anything - we even house rule that it can be outside of the game (for example, "I will make the next drink if you help me in this fight, and only take 1 treasure"). Its also entirely possible to "help" in the fight, but sabotage the fight so they dont gain levels!
With dozens of expansions, too, the game can grow and grow, and if you like a particular genre, they probably have it as an option (Sci Fi? Space Munchkin. Vampires? Munchkin Bites etc) - and they can all be played in one huge pile, if you want!!

Next set of dad come for a visit
Brad (ferrell) and Dusty (Whalberg) have learned to co exist as dad and step dad. Christmas has come and both of their fathers are coming for a visit. One planned Don (lithgow) who is Brad's dad and Kurt (Gibson) as Dusty's who decides to call the night before to say he is coming for a visit. They all end up spending the most joyful time of year together as a family but Dusty's setp daughter who is a trouble maker father Roger (Cena) is called in to try and make it right for his daughter. Can all of them exist in the same house hold.
I really liked the first one. This one with the addition of Lithgow and Gibson who are perfectly cast to play their fathers and with Cena coming in on it made it fun to watch but, there is a ton of the same type gags from the first one and you begin to expect what they hope you would find as the unexpected.

Aspiring novelist Lena London has been given the change of a lifetime, helping her idol, best-selling author Camilla Graham, polish up her newest novel. But Lena has hardly arrived in town when she finds the dead body of a young man near Camilla’s house. What is going on?
There is a strong element of wish fulfillment in this novel, and I must admit I enjoyed that real life fantasy. Camilla writes gothic novels, and there are elements of those here as an homage to the genre. Even though I’m not familiar with that genre, I still spotted a few; I probably missed others, but it wasn’t that big a deal to me. The characters are fun and the plot was strong. I did have some issues with the pacing at the end, but overall, I enjoyed this. It certainly left me anxious for the next one.

Amy Flowers is ready to follow her dream of opening her own cafe, and she’s hoping to do it by buying the local greasy spoon. However, Lou Lou, the owner, is not at all interested in selling. Amy stops by the cafe late one night and finds Lou Lou dead in her office. Naturally, Amy knows she has a good motive. Can she clear her name?
This is a fun start to a new series. The book focuses a bit on Amy starting her café early on, but the mystery begins to be the focus as we gear up toward the logical climax. Some of the characters could have been stronger, but I still came to care for them before the book ended, and I look forward to getting to know them better as the series progresses.

Hope you don't mind a prison sentence
Either a really good game, or a really bad game
I love this game. My family and I always used to play this in the school holidays so it always has a lovely memory attached to it. On the other hand, it has been the cause of a few arguments and sore losers as you can probably imagine. Nevertheless, when you can get through a game without arguing it is so fun to play.
It is a massively long game if you are playing in large groups though or people refuse to trade cards and help the game progress. We used to have to either play until an ungodly hour in the morning or put the game aside and continue playing the next night. So if you're after a quick game, Monopoly is a no-no.
Additionally, we used to play card games and use Monopoly money as currency. So there's that use too if you're not feeling up for a massive board game.

It’s December 1951, and Flavia is back from her exile in Canada. However, her welcome home doesn’t go as planned. Her father is sick and in the hospital, and her older sisters and younger cousin are as obnoxious as ever. However, she finds the perfect distraction when an errand to the next village ends with her finding the body of a wood carver hanging upside down from his bedroom door.
As much as I enjoyed Flavia’s adventure in Canada, it was good to be back in familiar surroundings with familiar characters. The usual crew are up to their usual antics, which was fun. I especially enjoy Flavia’s interactions with her cousin since she doesn’t see the parallels between that and her old sisters. The mystery was good and a focus of much of the book, although I did figure a couple pieces of it out early. Still, the ending surprised me.

A cryptic clue and a warning note from her father lead her to further suspect that there is a killer on the loose. But can she figure out what is happening?
I liked stained glass, so I was glad to discover this promising series debut. Savannah and her new friends grew on my as the book progressed, and I’m interested in seeing how they grow in the future. The pacing of the plot could have been a little better since I did feel some of the stained glass class scenes slowed it down, but it did come together for a logical and fun climax.

Ivy’s latest gig is in The Sound of Cabaret, a mash up of The Sound of Music and Cabaret. She’s also housesitting, and one of her new neighbors dies in his garage. While it looks like a suicide, the man’s daughter hires Ivy and her uncle to find proof he was murdered. Can Ivy balance her first investigation with her new show? Is there even a killer to find?
I enjoyed the first book in this series a few months ago, and I enjoyed this one just as much. There are several sub-plots, and they do take the spotlight from the murder in the first half, but as the book progressed the murder was more center stage. Some of those sub-plots even wound up tying in to the main plot. The characters are a delightfully fun bunch, and they kept me engaged the entire way through. Sprinkle in a good dose of humor and you’ve got another great book.
