Loved this interesting mystery!
I loved the last book I read by Grace Hitchcock "The White city" and this one definitely follows along the same lines of greatness :) I loved the main characters, and I thought them to be very relatable characters with some fun quirks. I enjoyed the flow of the story, the mystery of it, and the heart stopping suspense :) It will definitely go down as one of my favorites.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars for the great characters, funny moments, and superb suspense. I highly recommend this book!

"“I fled through Jonathan Safran Foer’s Here I Am and halfway through I was in tears and again a bit further on, more tears – as a father, as a son and as a husband. The last book that did this was Cormac McCarthy’s The Road and in some way this book is not dissimilar – there is a family in crisis and there is an apocalypse – but The Road is all darkness with brief spasms of light, and although Here I Am is also a deeply melancholy book about a doomed family, it is wickedly funny, so that you are laughing too, as it all goes to hell. A book with an enormous and furious heart. I loved it.” -NC"

The author in unapologetically herself.
Actual emails from the authors father (especially the author bio) was a breath of fresh air.
Relatable stories as a fellow minority attempting to assimilate as a child.
Although a comedy for most of the book, the author knew when and was able to be serious.

A laugh out loud science fiction adventure
I can't say enough about the first book in the Space Team series. It's a hoot. I really enjoyed the main character and the unexpected adventure he was sucked in to. Space Team is a really fun read if you're looking to unwind with some light-hearted laughter.

Highly recommended

This book is...weird. It's like a cooking manga, but they're exploring a dungeon, trying to find and rescue someone, and since they need to eat along the way, they kill and eat the monsters that protect the dungeon. There are funny moments, but the characters aren't well developed yet, so it feels like I got dropped into a story that's already started.

Meg and Michael are hosting an extreme coquette tournament on their property when Meg stumbles across a body half hidden under a bush. Not quite as funny as previous entries in the series, but the mystery is strong.

Baseball gets the Amelia Bedelia treatment as she agrees to help out some neighborhood boys with a game against their cross town rivals. Another funny look at how words can mean multiple things that kids and parents will enjoy.

"Some say Jay McInerney partied too much and it hurt his output, but the fact that the party produced this brilliant, hysterically funny description of the party makes the partying worth it in my book. That the novel’s narrator is based on a young woman who, I’ve heard lately, grew up to become John Edwards’ mistress of course only makes it better."

James Gunn is a loon
Prefer this to the David Ayer version. James Gunn just has a much better eye for comic book films in my opinion.

This version has much better character development, and the action is much more coherent.
