3.33 stars. 4 for the first two thirds, 2.5 for the last third.

I thought that this book was pretty funny in places, some of the situations, some of the phrases, some of the characters were just pretty crazy and that made me laugh. Gavin was cute. I can't quite picture a four year old like him with his dirty mouth and angelic face.

I have to admit though that I lost interest a little after the 2/3 point. They were happy, they were a family...why did it have to continue for all that extra length of time?

Nevertheless, Gavin and the crazy humour kept me entertained. I just need to decide if I want to read the next book in the series or not.

A genuinely funny and fun romp with B movie King Bruce "Don't call me Ash" Campbell that steps inside the Hollywood machine, and then smashes it with a hammer. Is it true? All of it, except for the parts that aren't. Or so claims the cover.

Listened to the unabridged audio book, which plays out more like a Big Finish audio drama, with sound effects etc... Bruce is in fine vocal form, and fans will get a least a small kick from the name drops of various projects he's been associated with.

The first thought I have about this book is that it is a mystery that doesn't try too hard. The second thought would be that I can't believe I waited so long to discover Janet Evanovich & this series!!!
The characters are well developed & I found myself rooting for Stephanie Plum throughout the entire novel. She seems like someone you would want to know. She's funny & tough, but still manages to seem vulnerable without being all "girlie- girl." I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series!

In the story of The Mudhogs, the three pigs named Piggy, Piggles, and Piglet love mud. They want to play in the mud but there isn’t any in the barn that they live in. So they travel the world looking for mud… and when they get home they learn an important lesson.

This is a really cute book that all kids would love. It’s easy to understand and is written by a kid for a kid. The illustrations are adorable and the story is funny and cute. Recommended for ages 3-10.

what a fab read, I just didn't want it to end. I really loved the characters and thought they worked really well in the story line, this story has romance, hot steamy scenes and the some funny parts. this book left me wanting more and I was disappointed when it finished. I loved how you got to see the story from both points of view makes the story more believable. the secondary characters were fab and played important roles within the story line.

Jaine Austen is off to a spa thanks to neighbor Lance. Only when she gets there, she learns it's really a fat farm. When another of the guests gets murdered just before Jaine is going to escape, she decides to find the killer so she can grab some real food. This is another funny adventure for Jaine, and I laughed my way through it from start to finish.

Cat Got Your Diamonds is an excellent start to the new Kitty Couture Mystery series. Lacy is funny, clever heroine, and I really enjoyed reading about her exploits. After encountering an intruder in her shop after hours, Lacy goes to get the police only to return with them and find the intruder dead. Finding herself suspected of murder, Lacy does just what we would expect of her. She decides to investigate.

With a great sense of humor and an interesting supporting cast, animal lovers, cozy lovers, and just about anyone else should love this book.
