It is what it is
Not many shows can hold their spot on the pedestal that their fans hold them - and Game of Thrones isn't one of them.

As much as I personally despise the ending in which the writers decided to go down, I can somewhat understand their thought process of exploring the most 'positive' and PC ending that they could muster. Aside from the loose ends and the sudden unimportance of characters once held at the heart of the show, I think they tried at least.

Where it was good, it was good, but where it wasn't good, it was appalling.

Found this one on Netflix. It stars Ryan Reynolds, Scott Speedman and Rosario Dawson. It's a movie about a couple whose daughter is kidnapped by a group of people who like to watch children online being abused. The game her for 8yrs and use her to lure other children online to meet them. This movie is an excellent crime drama. They don't show anything graphic but there's mild violence and cursing. I would say kids could watch this to see the dangers of meeting strangers on line. All around the acting, cinematography and storyline are great. This one is really worth a watch!

Darkly funny thriller
A truly binge worthy show. I got through the 8 episodes in just a few sessions. A mix of cat and mouse spy thriller as a Mi6 agent tracks a female assassin. It has plenty of often dark humour to go with it. The first few episodes made me think of the Hitman 47 game as the assassin goes to great lengths to make their hit. It slows down a bit for the last couple of episodes and the storyline became a little bit odd. Overall though it's a very enjoyable, classy series.

Utterly moronic game show in which squawking trios of over-achieving gym-bunnies try to make their way across various rooms which have carelessly been allowed to part-fill with volcanic lava. Teams that do it in the fastest time with fewest casualties get some money and a lava lamp (ha! ha!).

Maybe this is the kind of entertainment we deserve in 2020, I don't know. Does make me laugh a lot, though: there is undeniable entertainment value in watching annoying people humiliate and/or injure themselves in pursuit of a cash reward. Point knocked off for not using real lava.

I love how they scream "NOOOOOOO!!!!" when a teammate falls in the lava and I find myself regularly shouting at the idiots who just stand back and wait for someone else to cover most of the room when they should be moving too. Great show
