Simple but satisfying
A simple story of an alien invasion fought within a city block. The movie is funny & action packed. The aliens are scary, but cool. The acting is fine too. I like the different characters. The one thing that's a little hard to get over, is the heroes of the film are a gang of muggers & thugs. We get the "We are all fighting against the same enemy" trope, but when you think about it, they're still criminals. I still enjoyed the movie very much & would watch it again.

Avengers (Assemble) is, IMO, the best movie to come out of the MCU. Yes, there are plot holes, and it's not a very intelligent movie, but it's a ton of fun. I'm a huge fan of TH's Loki, and he is, by far, the strongest villain thus far in the MCU. It's fast paced and is successful at bringing the gang together. The quips and humor are well timed (unlike AoU) and worked in the film.
Here's hoping Infinity War is more like this film, and nothing like AoU.

I went to the cinema to watch this half dreading it as thought it would be very slow. Instead i got into it from the first moments instantly engaged into the live of Brain (micheal cain) as i meet the rest of the gang i could help but laugh at their stories and in genral how they interacted with each other.

I sometimes got lost in the cockney slang but most of the time even if i didnt know for sure i got the gist of what they meant.

Despite having 90% less Jack Black (in physical form, he still provides the voice for ventriloquist dummy Slappy), and a complete change of cast, I actually enjoyed this a lot more than the first movie. Better paced, with a more fun cast, Goosebumps 2 takes its time relishing in the creepiness that is Slappy, the ventriloquists dummy. Having him create havoc within a family environment before he unleashes the rest of his Halloween gang on the town. Took my daughter and nephew to see this and they loved it. Great fun.
