A suspenseful thriller from American author Harlan Coben, released a few years ago but this is a good Ôstand aloneÕ story that will introduce you to the dark world of gritty crime that he writes so well.
The central character, Paul Copeland, is the County Prosecutor of Essex, New Jersey. Twenty years ago his sister, and three other teenagers, disappeared from a summer camp and now ÔCopeÕ finds himself embroiled in a case that may provide some answers to their disappearance. A great thriller with plenty of interesting characters and plot twists.

X-Men 2- Wolverines Revenge (available on ps2 & GC since 2003)
In this hit sequel, wolverine and the X-Men (pun intended) are being hunted following an assault on X mansion/school for gifted youngsters. During this, Logan/wolverine comes into contact with the leader of the assault, an unknown figure from his past, the past he doesn't remember.

Featuring some of the best Graphics and stunt work, gritty story telling & a returning cast, X-Men2 is one of the best action/sci-fi/fantasy movies of the early 2000's.

"I love the movie Bullhead. I’m working with the director now. He’s kind of putting the light into a business, a very dirty business — it’s not the cool gangsters, it’s not the kind of sexy gangster world; it’s the gritty, very uncharming world of criminals working in the meat industry in Belgium. And the whole backstory to this lead guy is so incredible. I was in tears a couple of times when I saw it. And now I’m gonna work with Matthias [Schoenaerts] and with Michaël R. Roskam, who directed it."

I'm not usually a big fan of Gyllenhaal but this movie has changed my mind about him entirely. This shows the depth that he can portray and what he can portray in film. This movie is gritty and dark it shows the portrayal of a man who at first has nothing really to speak of developing into a successful entrepreneur that accomplishes this by some rather questionable choices. If you get the chance to see it I highly recommend that you take the time to watch and enjoy it.
