Sarah Betts (103 KP) rated Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls (The Baby-Sitters Club, #2) in Books
Dec 31, 2019
No, I haven't seen your hair ribbon! Leave me alone!
The BSC hears about a thief known as the Phantom Phone Caller and works themselves into a collective tizzy over it.
Also, Claudia has a crush on a poet named Trevor.
I liked this one. I remember when I first read it, I was really creeped out by the hang-up phone calls and that might have something to do with my extreme distaste for them today.
Curse you, Ann M. Martin!

Childhood revisited
Glen A Larson cashing in on the Star Wars explosion with this TV spin off. The A Team's Dirk Benedict and Lorne Greene from Bonanza were the 2 main stars until Richard Hatch as Apollo took over and became the main man. Still think the space ships were better than the X Wings from Star Wars, but never really loved it unlike Star Wars.

Eerie
Talk about the hair raising goosebumps. I was so eerily captivated and enthralled with this read that I didn't realize how time had moved on without me as I devoured this book in one sitting. Even as I sit here writing this review, I continuously have to look over my shoulder as it has left me feeling like someone is watching me. Do not put off reading this book and don't make the mistake I made and read it at night.

Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu Vol 01 (Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu, #1) in Books

I wasn't entirely drawn into this.
I didn't quite understand the whole cutting his hair thing and him deciding then to want to date her but at the same time I wouldn't mind continuing on for a few volumes to see where it goes.
I wasn't as into the artwork as well but maybe that's because it's only my second look at a manga comic after finishing off my lovely Blue Spring Ride series, which I loved.
Off to start volume 2.

SYIMS was a great find, it's like sitting and chatting to your friends about movies but without having to change out of your pyjamas or brush your hair to do it. They cover all sorts of topics including features on specific actors, movies and directors, if you search their back catalogue you're bound to find something to suit your tastes. The guys are always entertaining and it's well worth giving it a go if you're looking for something new.
