I picked this one up during the summer for a holiday read, but have only just got around to reading it now.

And, I have to say, I was really impressed with it.

Telling the story of Tau Solarin, this probably falls somewhere between high fantasy (yes, there are dragons but no elves or dwarves or such like) and heroic fantasy (none of the characters are really what you would call conventional heroes!), but nor is it what I would call Dark fantasy (you can understand why they are doing what they are doing, with none of the characters really anti-heroes).

I'm looking forward to finding out more about the background, culture, beliefs and (in general) the world in future instalments: just what was The Cull, for instance, and why did the Omehi have to flee from it?

At that, how did the caste system come about? Will it be overthrown ... ?

Mobile Legends is an 8/10 for me—definitely one of the better mobile MOBA games out there. The matches are fast-paced and exciting, perfect for when you want to jump in for a quick game. The controls are smooth and easy to pick up, even if you’re new to the genre.

The variety of heroes is great, with different roles to suit every playstyle, whether you like to tank, deal damage, or support your team. The frequent updates and events keep the game feeling fresh, and the developers do a good job balancing the gameplay.

That said, like many free-to-play games, it can feel pay-to-win at times. Some heroes or skins are easier to access if you’re willing to spend money. Matchmaking can also be hit-or-miss, especially at lower ranks.

Still, it’s a fun and competitive game that’s easy to recommend for casual and hardcore players alike!

I have read, (and reread) this TPB many times. Each time I find it amazing. It's full of odd humor, tragically flawed heroes, a fun subversion of the superhero genre, time travel, a smattering of steampunk, and chock full of some amazing characters. It's well written, with artwork to match. I don't know that I can describe what its about, you just have to experience it. Top marks across the board...again!

I have always been of the opinion that Marvel had the best heroes and DC had the best villas, so a film full of villas sounded like a dream, unfortunately it wasn't. The best thing about the whole movie was Harley Quinn, as a character she dominated the entire film and all the other villas were pretty much superfluous. Not a great film, in fact not a very good film.
