Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a two part play written by Jack Thorne, based on an original story by J. K. Rowling which continues directly where the last one ended, 19 years after the battle of Hogwarts.
The story follows Harry Potter, now Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic, and his younger son Albus Severus Potter, who is about to begin his first term at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
After discovering that his father was present the night Cedric diggory died, Albus decides to right his father's wrongs by making sure Cedric never dies?!
What follows is truly unforseen....

This was some amazing story telling that genuinely had me hooked, a story about communication, trust & sacrifices.

This book just never gets old. What is essentially supposed to be a children’s story can be loved and appreciated by anyone. JK Rowling masterfully tackles the issues of friendship and prejudice in this story as a young Harry Potter arrives at Hogwarts for the very first time and has to decide who he wants to be. All of the characters are very real with good and bad traits, making them even more likeable and relatable.

Pina and Katie's adventures continue as does their quest to be together. The new characters in this book add so much more to the story that made it even more amazing. Of course I was picturing Hogwarts when I thought setting but I am a nerd. Maggiore does not just create a well paced suspense with numerous twists and turns but also captures the difficulties of being gay in that time. There is so much packed into this story I couldn't put it down. More please!
