The film isn’t one of the best horror movies in its style, but it’s not the worst, but it did remind me of an extended version of one of the episodes from Supernatural, The Unholy is most probably going to appeal more to fans of Jeffrey Dean Morgan that to horror fans.

Excellent visual effects, keen sense of horror history, solid acting. (0 more)
Very little in the way of innovation or covering new ground. (0 more)
A fun way to spend 2 hours.
Overall it’s a solid horror film. Not a game changer in the artistic sense, but it’s high box office grosses will open the door for more big-budget R-rated horror, so for that alone it get so a six. Extra point for never losing my attention. I had a good time overall. Not blown away, but not disappointed. Exactly what I expected.

Great Survival Horror
This was a very good survival horror game back in the day. It had the feel of a teen, slasher film and reminded me of The Faculty quite a bit. Apart from the Resident Evil games and The Suffering there weren't many Survival Horror games about for the Xbox. The gameplay was very atmospheric, you often needed a torch to search around the school at night. It had a co-op mode for a second player. A great game for the time.

Like Every Other Horror
I was hoping for more but sadly found this to be like any other horror film made even worse by the terrible makeup job they gave La Llorona. I will thank them for the lacking jump scares that I often find cheapen so many horror films. However, this is simply because the plot is so simplified that I find myself almost wishing for more jump scares, hoping for a part of this film that could actually scare me.

Wasn't expecting that
I LOVED this film. It was one of those where after I watched it I was running down the street asking everyone"have you seen Mandy yet?". It's art house horror which may sound atrocious but here it is also accessable with Nicholas Cage almost mocking himself ironically within the scenes. It is a majestic challenge of current horror and deserves recognition for being a genre busying audacious middle finger to conventional boring run of the mill horror and takes you, instead in a journey into insanity
