The Room
1408- is a excellent psychological horror movie that is very underrated. It has suspense, thrills, chills, horror, terror, and more.
The plot: Mike Enslin (John Cusack) is a successful author who enjoys worldwide acclaim debunking supernatural phenomena -- before he checks into the Dolphin Hotel, that is. Ignoring the warnings of the hotel manager (Samuel L. Jackson), he learns the meaning of real terror when he spends the night in a reputedly haunted room.
Like i said before it is a excellent movie. It will twist and turn your mind.
I would highly reccordmend this movie.

Very low budget (2 more)
Bad acting
Nothing funny for a comedy horror
Watch Friday the 13th instead
Another low budget Horror currently on Amazon prime. Also another one to miss. Starts quite light hearted and tries to recreate the 80's B movie slasher films. Although nothing particularly funny for a horror comedy. The last part of the film doesn't fit with the rest of it. Sadly another low budget offering not worth your time.

I'll start this review by stating how this movie has a giant name behind it in Gunn. Having watched the marvel films he has produced I had high expectations, plus I just love a good horror.
However, his talent does not seem to extent into horror. The horror element was seen from the start, and there were no shocks in the film. I'd still recommend the film to anyone dippong their toes in the water, but not for anyone who wants a good film to watch.

Survive The Horror Tropes
The Final Girls- is a really good horror comedy and a throwback to the early 80"s slasher films like "Friday The 13th", "Sleepaway Camp", "April Fools Day" and more.
The plot: Max, recently orphaned, goes to see a screening of a B-horror movie that her mother made 20 years earlier. When Max and her friends find themselves in the world of the film itself, they must apply their knowledge of horror tropes to survive.
Its a really good film and highly recordmend it.

Fails as a horror movie, but still a good twisty tale of love and loss.
After the first Happy Death Day, didn't really seem like there was a need for a sequel, but Hollywood had other ideas. Firstly, the trailer for this movie is very misleading, one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to films. This, unlike the original, is not a horror movie. Also, much of the logic used to explain this sequel is a convoluted mess. But the film is still a fun ride. Jessica Rothe carries this film with her undeniable charisma, talent, and heart. Where a lesser actress would have been lost amongst all the plot holes, Rothe shines. You can't help but love her and care about her character's plight. So, as a horror movie, this fails, but stands as a twisty tale of love and loss.
