Classic Pixar. (4 more)
Superb entertainment for all the family.
Irresistible characters.
Great fun, lots of humour and a must watch, even now, over 22 years after first release.
Tom Hanks as Woody.
The film sports a provocative and appealing story that's every bit the equal of this technical achievement.

I loved Kick-Ass and wondered whether this sequel would be as good. I wasn't disappointed! All the quirk and humour was present and the new superhero characters were brilliant, as was the supervillain. Where else would you get supervillain names like Genghis Carnage and Mother Russia? Brilliant writing.

The penguins
Watched yesterday it’s okay for a Jim Carey movie with his usual type of humour that u expect from him but for me the real stars of the movie are the penguins they steal every secene they are in which made me laugh even more

Sam (74 KP) rated Kill The Boyband in Books
Mar 27, 2019
I’ve never read a book with dark humour quite like this. It was brilliant. The jokes are definitely inappropriate, and that’s why I loved them so much. It’s unusual to get humour like this in YA so it was definitely worth it. The only bit of humour I wasn’t completely on board with were the sexual harassment jokes, but it did fit the theme of teenage fantasies so I’m not going to complain too much about that.
It is definitely written for the boy band generation, which I somehow sort of managed to avoid. I say ‘sort of’ because I’ve still gone through that phase of obsessing over a band. I just love the way it portrays crazy fan girls.
It could easily be One Direction fanfiction with how bizarre it is, but I’m not complaining about that! It just made it even more funny and painfully relatable.
I started this book expecting not to like it, and I finished loving it! I just wish it had a nicer cover!

Despite the controversy surrounding Roman Polanski for the past few decades, he has made some astounding movies over the past 50-something years, Rosemary's Baby, The Fearless Vampire Killers, The Pianist, and many others.
Unfortunately, this 1972 x-rated comedy doesn't come up to their standards, it's rumoured that the whole point of the film was so he could see Sydne Rome naked, which would explain the lack of effort put into this film.
The film itself has very little story, a woman (Sydne Rome) escapes from 3 rapists and comes to a luxurious Italian house full of strange sexual deviants, all of whom fit perfectly in with 1970s sex-comedies, but couldn't really do serious acting. That's basically the film.
The script itself is for the most improvised, and the humour from this is probably the best thing about this film, and does cause some funny moments.
For the most part though, the film is only good for those with a particular sense of humour, not dry, but also not crude, somewhere inbetween.

Hilarious!
One of my favourite Comedies and possibly the best Spoof one. Always makes me laugh. From the same team behind @Airplane! (1980) and @Top Secret! (1984) it has the same sort of humour and a great mix of gags.
