I loved Dex, his humour and general way of living was very fun reading. He loved to wind people up and do crazy things...LOVED him! Sloane, you certainly grew on me, especially after that little scene around half way through!

I look forward to reading more of you two! And figuring out what this new group of bad guys are after.

P.S. This also made a nice change from the usual M/M Shapeshifter Romances!

Dark and funny
Found this book as a fluke and I've loved the series ever since, yes some of the themes can be quite dark but the characters are fantastic and really got involved with them, they also lighten the tone a little from really dark bits. Doesn't always paint a great picture of Scottish people but I enjoy reading it and laughing at parts which are actually how people are in real life

Not quite what I thought
I'm not sure this was exactly what I thought it was going to be. I expected a lot more humour when seeing the cast but I felt it was quite serious with a deep underlying story. The stories were quite good, I particularly liked he Portland Hotel episode. I felt towards the end it got quite silly and the solution seemed very clipped.

As with all of Maya Daniels' books, it is full of snarky humour and action. There are new characters to meet as we learn about Myst's past that I can't wait to meet again. A brilliant start to a new series and definitely recommended by me.

Secret Origins (The Courtless Fae #1) by Maya Daniels - @Archaeolibrary, @mayadaniels11, #Urban #Fantasy, 4 out of 5 (very good)

Space Force might not be the giant leap for comedy you were hoping for but it takes small steps in the right direction.
Arriving with undue and almost indecent haste, Netflix’s new satire sets its sites on one of the more ludicrous examples of Presidential hubris only to find that in its haste to launch early, its trajectory is slightly miscalculated and most of the humour fails to land on the designated target....

The teaming up for Rey and Ben with guards.i was looking forward to this movie. I have always been a Star Wars fan with R2D2 being my favorite droid. I think the change of director changed the story’s vision a little. I wished

Some of the humour seemed forced. (0 more)

Ryan Reynolds was made for this role!
Ryan Reynolds was born to play this character, his sense and style of humour fits this film. You can see why he fought so hard for this to be made, and I am absolutely sure that nobody else could really do the character justice. After the poor attempt at bringing Deadpool to the big screen seen in Wolverine: Origins, this is refreshing and far truer to its source material. The constant breaking of the forth wall (for which Deadpool is so famous) serves to keep the audience intimately involved and literally invites them along for the ridiculous ride. The action is impressively done, and that there is a real sense that the film embodies Deadpool's lunacy. I am struggling to pinpoint any issues, as it was just too much fun. This film was exactly what it should have been and I couldn't have asked for anything more...
