I really enjoyed Hunt the Moon. Karen Chance onces again nails the pace of action, romance and deepening our understanding of the loveable characters she has created. In Hunt the Moon we learn a lot about the big three, Cassie, Pritkin and Mircea which puts their behaviour and way of reacting to life in a whole new light. It's a work of art.
In Hunt the Moon, Cassie finds herself a brand new enemy, because rogue vampires, black wizards and gods were't enough. Now she gets to throw in the fae and demi-gods too. Who bring with them a whole new bag of tricks. And while you shouldn't laugh at someone who always seems to find herself and her bodyguards in the midst of explosions, but, well, it's damn funny when a stoned pythia is glaring at a possessed fridge. Karen is able to be serious and cover some unsettling topics like war, politics and childhood trauma (of all varieties) and balance it with pleasant prose and just straight-up fun. That's the best word for the Cassie Palmer series, it is fun to read.

This book was much more suspensful than the last few in the series. There's lots of tasering, shooting, kidnapping, & bodyguarding. I figured out who the Web Master was with about 100 pages left to go...though I had my suspcisions earlier on. That didn't take away from the plot though.

juggling being a student/cheerleader & Training to hunt & kill the undead proves to be a little more stressfull as the final hour draws closer.
A fun light hearted yet dark themed Classic.
The movie was a moderate success at the box office but garnered mixed reviews by critics.

My favorite new features of the game are the way you can hunt other mercenaries in the game & move up the chain. Sort of like the Lord of the Rings games where you can hunt specific orcs & goblins. The other is hunting cult members. You do missions to find out the identities of the cult members, then hunt them down. All very exciting.
So far they have kept the Azimuth stuff to a minimum, which is fine.
This game is huge. I have played for over 20 hours so far & nowhere near completing it. Not even half I would guess.
I also love the photo feature in the game & find myself using it a lot. The game is that beautiful.
If you like the others, then this is a must buy.

What we have hear is a fast-paced story where the hunt for a serial killer intertwines with the hunt for a terrorist from Sarah's past; both are hell-bent on bringing the Nation to it's knees in fear.
Sarah is a strong cookie but even she is questioning her ability to keep going. It is clear she has been through a lot and is damaged by her experiences but she has little choice but to hunt those responsible for the atrocities that are occurring with her colleagues in the Major Crimes Unit.
Full of action, this is a book that is hard to stop reading from the first to the last word. There are surprises and twists along the way and, I have to say, a very satisfying ending.
Thank you to Iain for providing me with a copy in return for an honest, unbiased and unedited review.

Betty Gilpin can do no wrong. She is AMAZING here. 👏👏
Super dark humor throughout, really well done.
VERY violent - though if you didn't expect violence going into a film called "The Hunt," I don't know what to tell you.
