Out of the three new Star Trek movies, this one, by far, is the strongest. I was surprised that the director, best known for the numerous fast and furious movies, did as well as he did. The villain, played by Idris Elba was kind of blah, I wish they would have given him more to work with. I loved the tribute to Anton Yelchin and Leonard Nimroy (RIP).

Ok, so unfortunately not a picture round. The aim of the questions I will pose is to guess the film title from two actors in the film. Some can be quite hard so to make it a little easier, the year will be supplied in brackets (but also in case they starred in more than one movie together). Here’s the first one:

Imogen Poots and Idris Elba (2007)

Perfect! Very pleased you got it. Thought it might have been too hard.

I'll be honest, it was pretty difficult. It kept me occupied at work yesterday!

Series was great, it always is with Luther. The only thing I thought let it down was the ending. Everything with the killer and his wife was just wrapped up quickly and abruptly and then it was straight on to Luther and Alice.
You can't miss Luther, highly recommend the whole box set, I do love Idris Elba though 😍

I enjoyed watching Idris Elba have the living shit beaten out of him by a lion more than I thought I would.
I went to see this on a Wednesday afternoon, when I had a couple of hours to kill, fully expecting to hate it, but it's a genuinely enjoyable thriller horror, with some tense moments. The characters are stupid way more often than they should be, and I got the feeling the script was improvised a fair bit, but honestly, Idris straight up chokes out a snake at one point, before punching the lion in the face a bit later, so it all balances out.
