Visitor Q is with a doubt one of the strangest things I've ever seen, and one of the only films to disturb me, with bizarre scenes that only the imagination of Takashi Miike could have come up with!

If you want originality and something to creep you out, this is certainly it. But be prepared...SPOILERS AHEAD!

This film includes some graphic, and very disturbing scenes that will leave you disturbed, including:

- A middle aged woman learning to spray her own breast milk.
- A man with a part of his anatomy stuck in a dead woman.
- And so much more in the final 15 minutes that I can't even remember it all!

Beware!

Vampires as you've never seen them before
I wasn't quite sure what to make of this book at first. Usually I like to read the blurb first to get an overview as what the book is about but that didn't reveal much which frustrated me as I like to know what I'm getting myself into... Emotional turmoil? Drama? Romance? (because I'm soppy). I love the twist the author placed on telling the story. No spoilers but to sum it up: a super smart but fairly young physics genius takes on vampires with the help of her housemates. If you want a dramatic but clever plot line as well in-depth characters that leave much to the imagination, you've got the right book.

Sleeping with the lights on at 30
Watched this again for the first time in years yesterday. Didn't seem half as scary when watching it with other people so didn't have to sleep with the light on this time (true story).
Sarah Michelle Gellar plays it well and some of the jumps and scares are brilliantly done. Raimi was going through a little horror spell with this and Drag me to Hell which also was pretty good, but did have a slightly more comedic tone than The Grudge.
Good supporting cast and well worth a watch, as its o e of the few American/Japanese updates that hasn't ruined the original story
