As a full time 4th grade teacher, I am constantly busy, working on one thing or another. Pinterest is my inspiration at times, encouraging and assisting in finding easy, interesting lesson plans and crafts. On top of that, I can indulge my own hobbies, making this a must- have for me.

I love period pieces, so I was all over this. It was really long, but I genuinely enjoyed it. All of the actors did very well with what they were given, and the direction was beautiful. I almost always like origin stories (in most cases), and this was the inspiration for Herman Melville's Moby Dick.

I definitely recommend listening to the audiobook version, as it's narrated by Le Carre himself. I really liked knowing the history behind the writer, and to see where a lot of his inspiration came from. It was broken up into a series of short stories/essays, which made it flow really well, in my opinion.

I really wanted to like this book -- I am a huge fan of basketball -- but I was weighed down and bored by its tedious descriptions. It had moments of true inspiration and I particularly enjoyed the end, where she coached a team of young girls, but overall - I just wanted it to end. Very disappointing.
