I didn't love it the first time through, but the second time and onward has gotten me to really, really enjoy it and become attached to it. It also helps that Hawaii contains some truly fond memories for me. The songs and heroic nature of the female lead character make it a winner in my book.

Just not that good....
I saw this not long after it first came out and had high hopes for it... I've since forgotten almost all of it so this won't be a good review, but I never want to see I again. I would mark it much lower, but it might be better than I remember.

I really really wanted to like this book. On paper it's something that's right down my alley. It wasn't, though. I fought hard to get into it, but it just wasn't written for an audience that includes me. It has nothing to do with the book or with the writer. I just couldn't get into it.

it had good twists and turns... the plot wasnt my favorite but the writing was really good so it did make it interesting to read. it did feel like there might need to be another one but im not sure if there is going to be or not. overall i am glad i got to review it

I Own this book and I love it and I do not remember when or where I got it but I read the whole thing and I cried somewhat when reading. If you have not read it I storngly you read it.

I have not read it anytime soon but I may in a few weeks or months again.

Considered a classic, nice idea done many times since and better in my opinion. Starring a young Tom Hanks, maybe if a saw it as a kid it would have been more fun, but now it just looks a bit dated. It was ok at times but I wouldn't call it a classic by any means.

Loved it
I thought this was an utterly fantastic movie. Watch it with the thought of this could be the near future!
I don't know what genre you would say it is, part comedy, part drama or is it tackling climate change?
Matt's character wallows a bit much but other than that it was a GREAT watch!

I am a huge fan of Stephen king movies it is one of my all time faves I think that it lived up to the original version it had it moments o cant wait to see part 2

I listened to the audio and loved it. I'm not a big fan of audio books but have a lot of driving time because of work. I think I enjoyed it more listening to it because Wil Wheaton did a "kick ass job" reading it. It definitely made me chuckle at a few parts of the book.

Fun and educationali
I pretty much grew up in this movie and even as a kid I always just enjoyed it. It was creepy and fun and really educational without it feeling like it which as a kid was kind of important. The movie teaches you about how Halloween started and how it evolved into what is today.
