This book was an okay read. I went into it with really no expectations so I guess an okay is pretty good.
The story telss of 2 5th grade best friends, Hazel and Jack. Jack made Hazel feel like she had a place in the world until one day he just up and changed on her. Her turnd into a jerk in the blink of an eye. The interesting part comes when reality turns to fantasy as Jack takes off into the woods on a sleigh pulled by white wolves. And of course no one sees it except Tyler, Hazel's archenemy when it comes to matters involving Jack.
The best writing comes as Hazel takes off into the woods to bring Jack home. The real world part of the story tends to drag a bit and the writing is much more simplistic. The fantasy part is the real meat of the stoey in terms of writing quality and plot.

"I’m a big Jack White fan. Specifically, I love the Raconteurs. They’re just fucking great, man. They’re straight-ahead rock ‘n’ roll music and it’s pretty radical. I think he’s just a weird vampire, alien, music god that has descended to bring rock ‘n’ roll music back. The Raconteurs, I think, embody all that."

Classic who probably my favourite 4th doctor story of all time it has everything the doctor dressed Sherlock Holmes Fu man Chu type villain part jack the ripper phantom of the opera what's not to love about this story. Only gripe white actors made up as Chinese characters in this day and age wouldn't happen classic all the way

"The perfect comedy, all the successful elements are there. Especially an amazing casting: Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon, and as if it wasn’t enough, Marilyn Monroe, more beautiful and sensual than ever. You have to follow this movie with its insane glam, frenzied rhythm and beautiful black-and-white cinematography. You can’t do much better in terms of American comedy, all eras included."
