Down the river
Been meaning to see for a while but can't say it particularly grabbed me. Based on a true story of a skier who got injured and begins a high stakes poker game.
I like poker but it doesn't actually feature much on the poker games. More of a biography of her. Not the most interesting story, one for Jessica Chastain fans.

Liked it alot there was alot to from the action scenes to some of the acting performances especially jessica chastain as mace and penolpe cruz but the plot could have been abit better and then there's a new character who's basically shoehorned in to the plot near the end in hope of getting a sequel which I would like too see

My last film of 2020 thought I would go with a bang it was rather good film strong performances from both Chastain and davis theres plenty of good action sequences and plenty of drama which kept me gripped to my bed wondering what was going to happen next definitely worth a rewatch

Some of the cgi effects
Just seen at the cinema just as good as the first part good cast Jessica chastin perfect as bevery few things wrong too long at almost three and some of the cgi effects bit dodgy but overall loved the film

A very good Drama
It's a very good and well acted political drama. Mainly about opposing sides lobbying for greater gun control. It has a sharp script and almost an espionage feel to it. Overall though not the most thrilling type of film and probably one you'd only watch the once.

It wasn't a perfect adaption, but I still liked it, nonetheless. I had a problem with Jessica Chastain (but, I have problems with her in every movie that has her in it), she was wooden. Matt Damon did well as Watney, and the other supporting characters were great.

Finally dark phoenix done right after X men last stand ruined it for me now we got the version we've been waiting for no spoilers here in my review Sophie turner played it perfectly. And with support from the rest of the cast would I recommen yes and good send off for the foxs X men movies
