Renia's Diary: A Holocaust Journal by Renia Spiegel.

I read about this diary, the history of its author and poet, and an excerpt of the diary in Smithsonian Magazine earlier this year. I'm so excited that I get to read an advanced copy. It isn't released to the public until September 2019.

This is the first time it has been translated into English. It covers 2 years in the life of a 16-year-old Jewish girl living in Poland before and during the German occupation. In it, she records her life, falling in love, and life in a Jewish ghetto, before she was cruelly executed.

She had given the diary to her boyfriend for safekeeping. He recorded the events of her death at the hands of the Nazis. He gave the diary to a friend before he was sent away to a concentration camp and it was returned to him after the war when he was living in the United States. He eventually gave it to her mother in the early 1950s.

Renia's sister, Elizabeth, was unaware of its existence until after her mother passed away in 1969. Elizabeth put it in a safety deposit box for many years because she couldn't bear to read it. However, knowing the significance of it, she eventually had it published and includes her remarks and memories of the events in an epilogue.

What's up losers?! I finally faced my fear of reading IT. My fear wasn't Pennywise, but the thickness of the book at 1,153 pages. As heavy of a book as it is, IT seemed to just float in my hands. Once I lifted open the manhole cover and climbed into the sewers of Derry, Maine the story flowed like the rain waters of the deadly 1931 and 1957 floods. If I had attached playing cards to my book you would've heard them clicking and clacking away as I turned each page faster and faster.

After spending the last couple of months with Bill, Ben, Beverly, Richie, Mike, Eddie, and Stan I feel like they're my best friends and I'm now part of the Loser's Club. I really hope in the coming years I don't forget about them, like a memory hidden away in the barrens of my mind. Maybe I'll have Mike make an entry in his journal.

Wahiawa, HI, July 19th, 2019, just past Midnight: If you were to look into my eyes at this moment you may see what appears to be deadlights in my eyes. I assure you tgey are only lit up with excitement and joy, as Stephen King's IT floated its way to the top as the best book I've ever read.

Atlantis: The Lost Empire- is a strange movie, it came out in the early 2000's and thats when Disney was running out of ideas or starting to. I believe that their were starting to run out of ideas. Atlantis: The Lost Empire - is a strange movie, cause it came out after "The Lion King". And the movie's after "The Lion King" were stange. What im saying is after "The Lion King", disney decided to go really strange/a huge left turn/didn't expect that/disappointed and overall a huge downfall. But i will get to those movies. Oh this is one of them.

I mean it was a good premise, just was kinda of boring. It was a mix of sci-fi, adventure and thats pretty much it.

The plot: An inexperienced young adventurer becomes the key to unraveling an ancient mystery when he joins up with a group of daredevil explorers to find the legendary lost empire of Atlantis. A naive-but-determined museum cartographer Milo Thatch (Michael J. Fox), dreams of completing the quest begun by his late grandfather, a famous explorer. When a journal surfaces, an eccentric billionaire funds an expedition and the action shifts to high gear.

You can skip this one, dont need to watch it.
