As real as a donut
once upon a timeinhollywood is slow paced, tight methodical, uplifting & intricately woven look into the life of a hollywood star in the late 60s. I have to say im not overly a big Tarantino fan (with Inglorious bastards & the hateful eight being my favourites of his) so I wasnt really that excited about seeing this but once I stopped being on edge waiting for something bad to happen & finally sat back letting the film pull me in I knew this wasnt the usual Tarantino movie & I found that strangely compelling. While slow 90% of the run time the film never drags or ever stops being interesting & fascinating. Characters just drip cool are all likeable well fleshed out & distinguishable with every performance absolutely killing it even people that arnt in it much. It just all feels very human, relatable, down to earth & real. Sets are crafted with such perfection & filled with so much painstaking detail that you would swear the film was actually shot in the 60s creating an atmosphere & believability like no other. Accompany that with a smooth soundtrack you have a movie that just pops with style constantly. While everyone does a fantastic job its brad pitt that owns the film, his character is so deep, inspirational & the true hero of the film. Overall I saw this film as a more chill ed out & about how every day life for us all most of the time is way more exciting, thrilling, full of drama & strange events day to day making our lives just as exciting & as watchable as going to the movies & if we all just stopped worrying/stressing for just a second about technology, love, being successful etc life would fall into place, be stress free, we would be healthier & happier. Masterfully filmed, inteligent, mature & well executed this is not only a true love letter to the art of film making but a tribute to movies & how inspiring they can be in general. So sit back enter the decade & relax it may all seem very anti violence at first but the violence does come with time & when it finally hits its shocking & nasty but it feels earned & perfectly timed.

Insights: When I first picked this eBook up, I was surprised by the style of read this was. It honestly wasn’t anything like I expected it to be. I was expecting a more romance/erotica feel of things, but this read more as a thriller. There were quite a few grammatical errors and the overall story was alright, but I wouldn’t reread it again and actually deleted it off my kindle once I finished it. It was fast-paced for me, almost too fast-paced. Causing parts of this series to be written in a very juvenile way and in turn, that made it just plain hard to read.

Will I reread? No. But that’s just because it wasn’t an appealing storyline worth a reread. Do I recommend? I mean, if you like cheesy written thriller’s that are just average. Then sure, read it.

No idea why I did that to myself
I just wasted two hours of my life watching this tripe. Despite hating the first film, and the entire franchise, I put myself through it again - a bit like main character Anna. I guess we're both masochists.

In spite of the red room and all of the instruments of torture, Anna goes back to Christian. And that's the entire film with a few fireworks. Don't strap yourself in for this one believe me.

This is a bone chilling page turner! Supernatural meets The Exorcist meets Law & Order in a gripping story that has just the right amount of humor, fear, suspense and resolution.

This book read like a dream. I couldn’t put it down. The story grabs your from the first page. There’s no boring build up. From the first paragraph your thrown into the fight.

This book leaves you ready for the next journey. Packed with everything needed to make a satisfying read and reader.

This scared me half to death. It seems quite an innocuous story to begin with, but it just builds and builds. It's very reminiscent of a few Stephen King stories (involving cars or creatures of the night), but at the same time, we shouldn't compare Joe Hill to Stephen King (I have GOT to stop doing that!). He very much has his own stories to tell. And this is a good one. And I quite like being scared to death, for the record.

Supernatural - Season 5

This season is slow going, it started in the middle of season four where it looked like they were running out of ideas and they needed to stretch the storyline, I am now about half way through and I know feel that I want to carry on watching instead of thinking I need to just get past this episode to see what happens next. Episode 8 is brilliant so many references to 80's shows, let's see how the series pans out.

Say what you want but a girl needs her share of brooding vampires and this shows provides just that. I knew the book but I wasn’t very keen to continue the series as I didn’t like reading from her POV, but I always loved the mythology the author built and a TV series is perfect for me.
The locations are amazing (even though I’ve never seen Venice so empty xD) and the story is compelling. Can’t wait for the second season!

Sabrina and Daphne Grimm have just been sent to live with the grandmother they didn't know they had. The bigger surprise is that they are now responsible for keeping the fairy tale characters from causing trouble. Like the giant running around town…. Yes, this is a kid's series, but I found it charming and entertaining once it got past the slow start.

2016 | Card Game, Fantasy
I think this card-building game is really well done. I like the ability to add modifiers to your cards to change how your deck plays. The element of luck just adds more depth to the game. My one criticism is that it is easy to tell which cards are modified (because they are thicker), so if you are paying attention to what you have in your deck, you know if it is safe to push your luck before you bust.

You can almost taste the Texas/Mexican dust in your mouth and the heat of the sun on your back. A good read, the action starts just about at the beginning and continues throughout. If anything I would have wanted a bit more description between Santo and Rose as i still can't picture what the look like in my head. All in all a great start to what i hope will be and amazing series that I will continue reading.
