What a confusingly beautiful story. The beginning was my favorite. How the Author wrote these characters into life. The characters where given more than just another story. They were given true life. No life is perfect we have ups and downs. We just learn to navigate it better. I wasn’t a fan of how everything went down. But it was beautiful in it’s tragedy. Alex and Val have been destined for each other from the first time they didn’t let language be a problem. I loved reading their story and how they found each other after years of pushed aside affection. You add in Jav and things get really hot. I wasn’t expecting the ending but I am glad it ended the way it did. I would’ve had a hard time accepting their relationship when Jav didn’t want Val too just Alex. I see them as a packaged deal and Jav and Alex broke it. Val was amazing like I couldn’t cope with the thought of someone else loving my man. But she was so understanding and brave to try and make everyone happy. I think if they crossed that line anymore relationships would’ve been lost. Not saying it wouldn’t work just that someone would’ve been hurt and it would be Val. Love is a powerful and painful thing.

Six Moon Summer (Seasons of the Moon #1) by S.M. Reine
Yet another book about werewolves (but no vampires to be seen of yet!) but this one is very good. It holds your interest from the beginning and takes you on a journey with the main character as she progresses through each New and Full Moon to become closer to being a fully-fledged werewolf. The "history" into the werewolf that is given is very well written and done in such a way that you don't feel like it is just something that needed to be done! There is a slight spark of romance in this but nothing that goes beyond the boundaries of Young Adult!
The pace of this book is continuous, not jerky, and the characters are well-written. Very few grammatical or editorial errors so it was a pleasure to read and I already have the second one to start.
Recommended.

Beautiful story (2 more)
Relateable characters
Absolutely gorgeous illistrations
No matter your age this book will affect you in some way.
A Monster Calls is one of those books that really stuck with me after reading it and I can really see it sticking with me for years to come because at its bare bones it is a book about grief and just how unfair life can seem to be.
I will admit that this book did make me cry like a freaking baby even though I was reading it on the train on the way home from work, and the thing was that it wasn't really the ending( I pretty much figured where the story was going from the beginning) but it was that it brought up so many not only memories but the feelings I went through under a similar event.
Even though this book is listed as a children's book it really is a book for a person of any age.

Great idea but could've been better
This film really is a great idea - who doesn't want to see a rom-com that makes fun of rom-coms? The problem is that despite some decent attempts at highlighting some of the major flaws in rom-coms, it is in fact a rom-com itself, and a fairly average one at that.
Whilst there are some vaguely funny moments, most of the humour in this falls flat. This probably isn't helped by the fact that I really dislike Rebel Wilson and although she isn't massively irritating in this, I still don't particularly like her. The best person in this is probably Liam Hemsworth and purely for his fun over the top Aussie performance. In all the film is just a little bit predictable and way too cheesy, not in the slightest what I was expecting from something that's meant to be making fun of rom-coms.

The last from Linkin Park as we knew them
My other half got me this on CD for Christmas and I'm so glad he did.
For me, it was a very bittersweet listen. There were many times on that first listen that I had a lump in my throat, especially with track titles such as "Talking To Myself", "Invisible" and "Nobody Can Save Me" and it makes it a doubly difficult listen when we remember that the band won't be able to make any new music ever again with Chester (Bennington, frontman of Linkin Park who very sadly died, possibly by his own hand on July 20th 2017). As soon as I'd listened to One More Light Live I recommended it to a friend of mine that is also a Linkin Park fan.
If you're a fan of live recordings, or even just a fan of Linkin Park the band, I think you'll like this. I love it, personally.

I was so excited for this game, this franchise is my favourite.
There are only around 4 franchises that i have never missed a midnight launch or a ultimate addition,
But this game breaks logic unlike the others that created a beautiful landscape to tell stories, but this game doesn’t fit.
I’m all about stealth and planning my way through missions, but this game doesnt really let you do that, instead it cares too much about fighting,
I did like the bird, was a different unlogical but different idea that i did enjoy,
For me this is the worst of the franchise and i had to use so much will just to finish the main story so i could say i gave it my best try

Marvelous! I'd missed more short pieces than I realized, so this book was even more of a treat than anticipated. I read quite a few anthologies, so I had thought that only the much-anticipated new novella would be new to me. Even the ones I've read before are good enough to revisit, though - a sure sign of a very good author. They were like revisiting old friends.
The new novella, <i>Aftermath</i>, was fascinating. I don't want to say too much, as I know that quite a few people ended up with too many spoilers about the end of [b:Changes|6585201|Changes (The Dresden Files, #12)|Jim Butcher|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1250016196s/6585201.jpg|6778696]. I think I'll just say that the it is well worth reading and leave it there. As promised, it does pick up right at the end of <i>Changes</i>. If you've read that, you want to read <i>Aftermath</i>. Come on, you know you do!

Thank goodness. A particular story arc is finally closed, spread over the length of this and the previous novel. It was interesting at first, then it got really tiresome. I will say that it was fairly unique, which is fairly rare, so kudos to Flewelling for that, and it really tested the relationship between Alec and Seregil while it lasted.
I'm not sure how much longer these books can stay fresh, although the world does offer more potential. Perhaps it's time for Flewelling to allow this couple to turn things over to a new generation? Their heritage does mean they'll be young enough for nightrunning for years to come, but that doesn't mean readers will stay interested in reading about them that long unless they go off to countries as yet unexplored. I, to be honest, would prefer to read stories including more female POV characters for a change. (I have nothing against gay male characters - I just like female characters, too.)

A Promise for Tomorrow by Miranda Barnes is a wonderful book. It is a story about new beginning and new romantic interests. Just because one chapter in your life ends does not mean that life ends all together and this story shows the reader that second chances come around. Sarah, the main character, needed a change of pace so she quit her job, ended her relationship that was going nowhere and moved to a new place. In her new environment she found a new job, and made new friends. Sarah met India and became good friends which opened the door to meeting more people like Robert. The story will have you rooting for Sarah and Robert and their relationship.
The story was simply written but shows that people can take a chance on love when they have lost the one they love.

I was pretty excited about seeing Darren Aronofsky's newest film Mother!, but honestly ended up being a total let down for me. As with any Aronofsky movie, you know you're gonna get some pretty messed up stuff and Mother! definitely delivers on that front. It's one of those movies that I can't really review or talk about without giving away major spoilers. What more can I say, hmmm? The build up good, I was enjoying that part, for it had a Rosemary's Baby vibe going on. But once the final act, or testament I should say, plays out you're able to get an understanding of what this movie was supposed to symbolize. Maybe that was what killed it for me, is every character and every little thing is very symbolic and once realized you're like, "Oh! Okay". I get it, at least I think I do, but at the end of the day, or times, just not my kind of movie.
