"It’s very hard for me to prepare for something like this because I collect non-stop, discover new things every day, and take music very seriously. I hate the technological rip-offs that pass for music formats these days, and go back to vinyl to hear a good record because the sound is always so much fuller. “I don’t even like listening to music in the car. But iIt would be ridiculous not to mention Kate Bush as someone who creates a powerful dreamscape and a great mood, but I also love Traffic, the pop textures of Marc Bolan, and all kinds of techno."

"A modern classic. So original and exciting to watch. The premise itself is like a science fiction story, except that it is all very human and emotional. I think it’s Jim Carrey‘s best and most relatable performance. Kate [Winslet] is always amazing, but here she gets to do something she’d never done before. She’s so scattered and passionate and real. It’s heartbreaking because it’s about heartbreak and vulnerability and the inability to navigate through it all, which is, of course, an essential part of the human experience. It’s entirely unique, from an original voice, and that, in itself, deserves applause. The music is brilliant also."

The concept of the film was so intriguing, I decided to watch it. This isn't a movie I'd typically watch, I have a strong aversion to films with a slight romantic angle. The music was all good, of course, and Himesh Patel was genuinely amusing throughout. The look of bewilderment on his face made me laugh, every time.
The romantic portion was a little lazy, but I wasn't expecting the wheel to be reinvented.
I did have a huge issue with the ever-obnoxious, unfunny, Kate McKinnon. She was the worst part of the entire film, and there would have been nothing lost without her irritating, badly-acted character.

The frustration I feel from watching this film is steaming off of me. This film is basically Parent Trap but with actual twins and far less talented ones at that. Lindsey Lohan was able to play an American and a British version of herself for the Parent Trap and blew Mary-Kate and Ashley out of the park - literal twins. This film was predictable from the beginning and it was kind of frustrating. It seems like the off-brand you buy at the store because name brands are too expensive and not always worth it. In this case, I'd take the name brand any day.
