Heart warming, hilarious, and will undoubtedly be one of my favorite movies this year. Bryan Cranston never disappoints, but this was the best role and acting from Kevin Hart to date in my opinion. Just an all around beautiful movie.

I will make this review quick and easy. This movie is simple. Simple pedestrian
story, simple shells of characters with no depth and simple jokes. This is the
kind of movie that you go watch, enjoy yourself and forget about ten minutes
after you walk out of the theater. Is that bad? Not as long as have the right
expectations going in.

If your expectations are the following, you will
have a good time:

– Fans of Kevin Hart going to see Kevin Hart be Kevin
Hart-lite
– Introducing your significant other or parents to Kevin Hart
(lite)
– Looking for a laugh at matinee movie prices
– Expecting to see a
simple version of the buddy cop genre

If your expectations are the
following, you will be disappointed:

– Expecting this movie to be as
funny as Friday because Ice Cube is in it
– Expecting Ice Cube to be
anything but devoid of personality
– Expecting Kevin Hart to be as funny as
his stand up
– Expecting the duo to do the buddy cop genre justice

That’s really about all there is to say about this film. Did I enjoy
myself? Yes I did, because I went in with the right type of expectations. But I
honestly cannot remember much about the movie or many of the jokes as I write
this review two days after watching it. So that should count for something.

Kevin Hart and Will Pharrell work really well together, although Kevin Hart looks so small in comparison.

The story is clever with some really funny over the top parts. I absolutely loved the gay cafe scene, really tickled me.

Just generally all round funny film. There is a lot of racism and homophobic jokes but they are funny, just wasnt sure if thay would be everyone's cup of tea.

Updated version of a great movie
First all you would have to say is The Rock, Jack Black and Kevin Hart and you know it will be funny. Although I have to admit I was a little skeptical before seeing it because it is a reboot and let's face it they are doing a lot of those lately. Not all end up being as good or better then the original, however this is not the case with Jumanji. I thought this was a great reboot of a great movie. I like the updated idea of the game being a video game versus a board game but still follow along with the older version as well.

If you decide to see the movie and you are a Rock fan, or a Jack Black fan or a Kevin Hart fan I don't think you will be disappointed. I laughed quit a bit and my whole family enjoyed seeing it.

Stir of Echoes with a new twist
As a family returns home from vacation at the Grand Canyon, they innocently bring home a supernatural force that preys off their own fears and vulnerabilities, threatening to destroy them from within, while consuming their lives with terrifying consequences. THE DARKNESS stars Kevin Bacon, Radha Mitchell, David Mazouz, Lucy Fry, Matt Walsh and Jennifer Morrison. Directed by Greg McLean and written by McLean, Shayne Armstrong and S.P. Krause, the film was produced by Jason Blum, Bianca Martino and Matt Kaplan. The film will be released by BH Tilt in coordination with High Top Releasing.

Rating: PG-13

When it comes to Kevin Bacon it's hard to say it's a bad movie or an okay movie but this maybe one of those times. Don't get me wrong, Kevin is an amazing actor but with a very week story line, it's hard. Maybe it's because I'm thinking of "Stir of Echoes" during the full movie but it has its moments.

I really enjoy the work that David Mazouz brings to the film (playing Kevin's autistic son) really wasn't easy but he pulls it off and well.

A few jump scenes (dam snake on the table) but nothing to major, this gives me the same feeling as parts in Stir of Echoes, but with a weaker story line.

By the middle of this movie you are either into it fully or you are searching for something else to watch. If you do finish it, you are a true Kevin Bacon fan and you feel you owe it to him to finish it.

Note, the CGI scenes that are used (you will know) are very poor and cheesy, I feel like those parts really let me know I was watching a weak movie, shoot rotten tomatoes gave the thing 3%. 🤷‍♂️

Great Batman Film everyone should watch !!!
If you love batman as much as I do this film will surely live up to your exceptions. Yes it was made in the 90s, however the animation is still top notch. Plus Mark Hamil as the Joker and Kevin Conroy as Batman is just fantastic. Now when it comes to the plot it contains themes that are relatable to children as well as adults. Overall a good solid Batman film.

Kevin Hart: What Now? (2016)
Kevin Hart: What Now? (2016)
2016 | Comedy
Kevin Hart returns to theaters with his latest concert movie What Now The film features his concert held in Philadelphia, PA where over 50,000 adoring fans sold out Lincoln Financial Field.

Kevin Hart does more than answer the question as to “What Now?” He brings forth new material about his family, pop culture, relationships, and the quirky interaction that we all engage in during our daily lives. His routine offers fans and comedy lovers the opportunity to sit back and let the laughs take over.

Hart demonstrates with the turnout, material, and ability to keep a full house entertained that he is stand-up comedy’s rock star.

No one else is even close right now in being able to bring audiences of different cultures, races, lifestyles, professions, and backgrounds together in order to laugh at all of the things that make us uncomfortable or what we probably shouldn’t laugh at under normal circumstances. For Hart, nothing is out of bounds or considered safe.

Fans and newcomers will not be disappointed with Hart’s newest performance. The presentation of the act incorporates an interactive stage and special effects that allow the jokes to come to life.

At times, I found myself more interested in the technological aspects than the jokes. They were able to build off of each other and enhance the performance, even for the few jokes that miss the mark.

This film however, does not. There are more than enough quotes and lines that audiences will find themselves repeating or using in casual conversation. The performance is fresh and ensures that we will continue to see Kevin Hart for years to come.
