Kiefer sutherland
Good political drama
Edge of the seat political drama. Kiefer sutherland is by far the stand out in this show ( even through as my wife says, he is far to small to be the president lol)

Great cast (4 more)
Very good SFX
Very funny
Kiefer Sutherland
Cool soundtrack
Death by stereo!
What's not to love about this film? A very cool Vampire film and exactly how a Vampire film should be. It still looks great today the effects don't look dated. The Vampires look like how you expect them to. It has some iconic scenes and great dialogue, not to mention funny as well. One of my fave Kiefer Sutherland films in one of his earlier roles. The rest of the young cast have great chemistry. It also has some great songs to cap it off. It simply oozes coolness and class, a true 80's cult classic!

Lack of any real tension (1 more)
Not scary
Almost DOA
Amazingly I haven't seen the original so can't compare them. I didn't expect much from this and it turned out pretty much by the numbers. It starts ok and nice to see a small role for Kiefer Sutherland. However there is a real lack of tension or scares in the second half of the film. It could have raised the stakes in many ways but stays in the middle ground.

I've seen this film twice and it's one of those that has stuck with me.
It's not really a cast I would put together; having Sandra Bullock and Kiefer Sutherland as a couple just doesn't sit right with me, but it works in the overall setting of the film. Jeff Bridges is very good in the role of the manipulative murderer, and there is a lot of suspense throughout the film.
Very enjoyable if you like something to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Drama at its best (1 more)
The last third is very dark
A fitting end to an innovative series
24 has had its ups (season 5) and it’s downs (season 6) but it has always been exciting television - largely in part to Kiefer Sutherland owning the role of Jack Bauer.
The show opened the debate about use of torture, especially in extreme circumstances and took on philosophical view points like utilitarianism and Shakespearean tone. Season 8 wraps everything up - until Live Another Day - in terms of the character arc of Jack Bauer. Will he get a happy ending? Will the ending he gets serve the whole of the show? What happens to Chloe? All of these are answered in some way or another. I didn’t want the show to end but understood it had to. The first half of the day does go over some very well trodden ground but the second part picks up and goes very much on a ‘only one way out of this’ route.
Regardless of what people thought of the ending, 24 was an inspirational show to a new wave of television and it will be sorely missed but very much loved.

You Can't Handle The Truth
I love this movie, its such a phenomenal movie, a epic dramaic movie. Lies, truth, justice and liberty. You have a excellent cast like- Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, Jack Nicholson, Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon, Kevin Pollack and Cuba Gooding Jr.
Also you have classic lines like.. "I am a lawyer and an officer in the United States Marine Corps...and you're under arrest, you son of a bitch.", "What do you wanna talk about now? My favorite color?", "Did you order the code red?", "I want the truth!" and of course "You Can't Handle The Truth".
The plot: Lt. Daniel Kaffee (Tom Cruise) is a military lawyer defending two U.S. Marines charged with killing a fellow Marine at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba. Although Kaffee is known for seeking plea bargains, a fellow lawyer, Lt. Cdr. JoAnne Galloway (Demi Moore), convinces him that the accused marines were most likely carrying out an order from a commanding officer. Kaffee takes a risk by calling Col. Nathan R. Jessep (Jack Nicholson) to the stand in an effort to uncover the conspiracy.
Such a classic excellent movie, to start the month of "Tom Cruise".
