Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2353 KP) rated Mr. Monk in Trouble (Mr. Monk, #9) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
When a former SFPD cop is murdered in a former gold rush town, Monk reluctantly heads up there to find the killer. Along the way, he and Natalie make an interesting discovery about an ancestor. The passages from the past combine quite well with the modern mystery, making this another fun book for fans who are missing the show.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2353 KP) rated Blind Dates can be Murder (Smart Chick Mysteries, #2) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Finally ready to get back into the dating game, Jo agrees to a blind date. Her date is short, fat, bald, and part way through dinner, dead. But when Jo finds herself targeted by the killer, she ramps up her efforts to bring the person to justice. Another great book that keeps the suspense building until the very last page.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2353 KP) rated Delicious and Suspicious (A Memphis BBQ Mystery #1) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
A TV executive is scouting BBQ joins in Memphis and creating enemies. When she dies after eating at Aunt Pat's, owner Lulu Taylor decides to clear her reputation and her friends by finding the real killer. I liked the characters, but the plot dragged at times. The first chapter had some writing issues as well, but I was ultimately glad I continued.

PyroTheDragon (6 KP) rated The Walking Dead - A TellTale Games Series: Season 1 in Video Games
Nov 14, 2018
Great time killer
Make choices for a young girl in the zombies apocalypse. Your choices essentially affect the outcome of the story. It's fun and had a decent replay value, but even replaying it's not gonna last you longer than a few days. Definitely worth a play, if you like TWD and need to kill time. If you want to actually kill zombies you're in the wrong place. As an added bonus telltale games has a bunch of these in different series'

Erika (17789 KP) rated The Most Dangerous Animal of All in TV
Mar 14, 2020
Crime documentaries are, by far, my favorite programs to watch. Last week Hulu released FX on Hulu, and this was the first non-fiction show from FX.
It's a nice, tight, four episode series about a guy who tracked down his birth mother, and subsequently his father, who he believes is the Zodiac Killer. It was completely engaging, and the evidence was compelling.
To avoid spoilers, I have to stop there. It's well worth the watch and I highly recommend it.
