I absolutely love the kindle app. I have it on my phone and I also have a kindle. I can buy books on my kindle and they will instantly sync to my phone. If I read on one device I can instantly pick up on another. However, I don’t like that I can’t buy books on my phone, I end up saving books and either forgetting and missing deals or forgetting altogether

Love it
I own 3 Kindle Fires & one Kindle book reader. They all work perfectly & easily. My only complaint is the batteries on the Fires take forever to charge & run out fairly quickly. They are great for games & digital comics. The reader has hundreds of books on it & the batteries last a very very long time.

The Kindle app is my app of choice at the moment for eBooks. I use my phone. It is easy to navigate. I recently joined up to kindle unlimited and it's really easy to return and get new unlimited books.

While an excellent way to browse amazon's store, not being able to buy kindle books from the iOS app is a drawback for me.

I think it is an Apple issue - buying kindle books from the app would count as in-app purchases and Amazon isn't allowed to / doesn't want to be classed as having in-app purchases. So you have to go to safari instead.
