One Man's Obsession
Unlawful Entry- is a really good suspense thriller. The suspense, the thrills, the drama, the mystery are all excellent.
The plot: Happily married Michael (Kurt Russell) and Karen Carr (Madeleine Stowe) call the police after a failed robbery. Officer Pete Davis (Ray Liotta) arrives and helps arrange the installation of a new security system. The grateful Carrs have Pete to dinner and strike up a friendship. Pete invites Michael to ride with him during a night's patrol and gives him the chance to beat up the burglar. Michael refuses and tells the disturbed cop to stay away, but Pete begins stalking the terrified couple.
Its a excellent film. Highly recordmend.

Snaaaaaake!
Escape from New York is a 1981 dystopian science fiction-action film.
In 1997, a major war between the U.S and Russia is continuing and the whole of Manhattan has been converted into a giant free roaming maximum security prison. When Air Force One is hijacked and crashes into the island, the president is taken hostage by inmates. Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell), a former Special Forces soldier turned criminal, is recruited to retrieve the president in exchange for his own freedom.
Dark toned action adventure spawning a cult franchise and heavily inspired the Metal Gear Solid franchise. (I mean its lead character is snake plissken)
co-written, co-scored and directed by John Carpenter.
It stars Kurt Russell, Lee Van Cleef, Donald Pleasence, Ernest Borgnine, Isaac Hayes, Adrienne Barbeau, and Harry Dean Stanton

You go - we go
I remember first seeing this film when I was about 9 or 10 and loved it! I thought Kurt Russell was God and went through a stage of wanting to be a fireman. Now 'a few years' later I can objectively review it...Kurt Russell is still God!!! Along with his performance theres equally awesome ones from Robert de Niro & Donald Sutherland. Some of the other performances are a bit bad (Billy Baldwin I'm looking at you!) but the real star of the show here is the fire sequences. They are truly amazing and manage to put you in the scene so that you feel you're in the middle of the fire with them. A true classic.
