I will start my review by telling you that by the end of the second chapter I stopped reading this and I called my daughter into my bedroom and I began to read the book out loud. We read it in one sitting and we both loved it.

The suspense kept us on the edge of the bed and we often found ourselves laughing. The story line was beautiful and uplifting and full of life lessons. This author is talented and has a way with words. We both look forward to reading more of her books and we HIGHLY recommend this to one and all. -

If you haven't read this yet....why?
This book is literally the most magical journey ever. No, it is probably not the best book ever written. Yes, it was written for children. Given these facts you should still give it the chance to to win your heart because the lessons of friendship, bravery and true heroism surpass the age group it was written for. The following books include acts of literary justice that are truly moving and teach that standing up for what is right, even in the face of danger or at the risk of one'e own life, is the most important thing.

Not just for kids!
I'm not interested in the first 2 films, but having kids I've been subjected to watch them. So when they realised the 3rd film was out, obviously we had to go and watch it instantly. But OMG how good?! From start to finish it had such an easy story line to follow. Its got so many life lessons in, such as losing a parent, people having limbs missing, forming friendships and relationships. It's got such a lovely ending. I cried. But then I love a good ending so?‍♀️ but honestly if you like I feel good cartoon it's worth the wTch

Touching Tree Tale
I grabbed this book to read before making suggestions to my students and I fell in love with it. It is a wonderful tale of a town, girl and a tree full of animal friends. It takes a few chapters to get into, but once you get hooked, you can't put it down. The messages learned along the way are lessons that children... and many adults need to remember going through life. I really liked the concept of wishes and sharing them to allow others that feeling of being helpful. I suggest this book to any parent or teacher to read aloud. Amazing conversations will occur.

Phenomenally good adaptation
It's worth remembering, every time you're tempted to think "this could never happen", that Margaret Atwood didn't include anything in her book that hadn't already happened somewhere in the world. So yes, it can and did happen somewhere, and could and may happen again if we don't learn the lessons of history.

The book has been superbly dramatised and features a strong cast who bring the story to its full, horrific life. There are few things I would ever characterise as a must-watch, but this is definitely one of them. Either the series or the book should be compulsory texts for 16 year olds.
