"If I had to choose my number 1 favorite book of all time, it would be this. (And as this is widely considered one of the great American novels, I’m clearly not the only person who’s been hugely affected by it.) White Noise uses the story of a college professor and his family in small Midwestern town to explore American paranoia, consumerism, and novelty academic intellectualism. I love this book for its ability to to be dark, beautiful, smart, and hysterically funny, all at the same time."

I love the cover of this book and thought there would be a scene in the story with her wearing it and there is in a way but not how I pictured it. I liked the whole good and evil of the characters, though I wont give too much away by elaborating.

I loved Arriane and Penn.

One thing that seemed rather strange to me was how he never really showed any interest in her but she couldn't help but be drawn to him...

I thought this book was really cleverly written. It is a challenging read - challenging because it looks things in the eye which most of us shy away from. It breaks down preconceived ideas, prejudice and assumptions.

It is grim at times, sad, heartbreaking but ultimately uplifting. I thought the characterisation was amazing. The narrative style skillfully portrays a clever woman trapped inside the body of somebody who has limited ability to communicate.

The love story was movingly beautiful but gritty and not over sentimental.

Fabulous debut!

Season one very good season 2 moderate

Stranger things were a good retro feel your without it being heavy in it but it also had a good strong story. Nancy wheeler character having the love triangle felt confusing and didn't need. The boys group are funny landing the jokes. Jim hopper is a good sheriff and wanting to protect the female protagonist. But in the second season felt juggling too many individual stories on character. Too much

I l-o-v-e-d this book! I try not to read books about the military, because they usually break my heart, but I fell in love with this one before I realized what it was about. A Lover's Lament was extremely emotional and humbling at the same time - it's scary to read about what our soldiers go through and how oblivious we are to their suffering. I should hurt the author for what she put me through, but I loved the story too much!

Wow.

I have adored this series since the first book. So much happens. Love. Friendship. Death. So much time passes.

I loved all the Nephilim, all for different reasons, and I have a feeling this story will stay with me for a while.

A classic tale of good versus evil with a brilliant plot and characters. I loved the ending, some bits were sad and others were lovely. The romance was uplifting.

If you haven't read this series yet, then I definitely recommend you do.

AMAZING!

What an amazing short read. This story is about a man that saves an underwater race from being devoured by a sea serpent. So much happens in just 50 pages. There is mystery, love and adventure. A cruel king, a downtrodden boy with rights to the throne, magic shells, mystical storms and a ships captain who believes in myths and legends. I haven't done my research yet because I was so excited to let you know how amazing this read was, but I hope there's a sequel.

Hmm... as much as I love this series, this one felt like we were back to square one again with her having amnesia and not remembering anything.

I liked how the gang all followed her to Sleepy Hollow and found ways to be in her life but I wasn't as into this story as the previous books. The banter and mystery themes were still there but I couldn't bring myself to care too much.

I'm hoping book 10 will be back to normal in New Mexico.
