This book is over 300 pages but the writing is awesome so you won't mind! The book is well written and you will adore the characters. This book is unlike anything I have ever read. It is about teenagers playing MMORPG, lightening strikes and they wind up in the game. It is full of adventure, and twists and turns. I can't wait for book 2. I am giving a voluntary, honest review of an ARC from NetGalley.

Excellent and Intense game
I started playing this as a game on game pass that i have never heard of. I thought that i would give it ten minutes, three hours later and i was still playing it. Its not easy to put down and there are lots of missions and side quests as well as a large and extensive single player campaign. Its an MMORPG that is easy to play and yet strangely addictive. The graphics are really good and the intuitive gameplay makes for a very absorbing challenge. :)

This rating is of the audio book narrated by Wil Wheaton.
I only played one MMORPG seriously (Guild Wars, I'm looking at you!), and it consumed my life for a good year or so. This is important - all sorts of games are mentioned in Ready Player One, but it takes place within an MMO, and I'd wager that experience with MMOs will vastly increase your enjoyment of this book. It brought back all my fondest memories of gaming culture. It wasn't the most complex story of all time, but it did constantly manage to remind me of how much I loved hanging out with friends, arguing about games, and competing to see who truly had the best grasp of combat mechanics in super smash bros.

Main story quests are great (2 more)
Music for the different areas and the game are great overall
Variety of job classes to choose from
Duty Finder wait time can be really long for damage dealer job classes (2 more)
End game can be a bit of a boring grind
Some of the dungeons are hit or miss
Fun MMORPG
I played Final Fantasy XI for a long time and loved it, then made the switch to Final Fantasy XIV after they revamped it with A Realm Reborn. I really enjoy the game. There are a variety of job classes to choose from and with the addition of Samurai and Red Mage for Stormblood it increased. Playing the game with friends is definitely more fun. With a good Free Company (guild) and linkshell you can get a lot of the story quest and side quest dungeons done in no time. The music for the game itself is beautiful and the areas in the game look great. Some of the dungeons are hit or miss and sometimes they can be a bit boring, but it helps to go with friends who make it fun. There's other things you can do besides questing and leveling like crafting and mini games so there's always something to do.

Mothergamer (1549 KP) rated Warframe in Video Games

Battle system (1 more)
Variety of warframes to choose from
Fun Free To Play MMORPG
A friend suggested this to me since I like games like Phantasy Star Online. It's free to play so I thought it wouldn't hurt to check it out. I like it a lot. There are three different warframes to choose from when you start out, with their own unique abilities. There's a tank one, a crowd control damage dealer, and one that is like a mage. I went with the Mag; the crowd control warframe. I had so much fun doing missions with friends and fighting enemies. It's fast paced and the battles are great. You can also upgrade your warframe and build other warframes from items you find during missions. You can also upgrade your weapons and abilities. I started playing this on PC and really liked it. You can also play on PS4 and XboxOne which is cool. There is no cross platforming however, which is a little disappointing. I just spend time playing on PC with my friends there and then on PS4 with my friends there. The game is a lot of fun and playing with friends makes it better.
