TravelersWife4Life (31 KP) rated An Ivy Hill Christmas (Tales from Ivy Hill) in Books
Feb 23, 2021
This book was like being transported back in time and immersed in a magical Christmas wonderland. Richard and Arabella had great chemistry right from the beginning and I loved their banter with each other. They had meaningful interactions and portrayed some realistic truths. The story was filled with some interesting twists, old secrets, lost love, and an interesting plot that kept me heavily engaged with the characters. An Ivy Hill Christmas Made me cozy inside, I highly recommend this sweet Christmas story and I am excited to have found a new author to read
Alice (117 KP) rated The Night Circus in Books

I'm at odds of how to rate this book because while it was so magical and enchanting and had the most beautiful language and essentially everything I love in a book it somehow didn't give me that feeling that I wanted and that I get from my 5 star reads. I went into this wanting it to be a 5 star read and expecting it to be a 5 star read but for me it just fell a little short of that. I still adored it and want nothing more than to attend the cirque de reves and I like celia bowen would also die for marco alisdair and i so wish it were real. Actual Magic in a book.

Merissa (13585 KP) rated Bad, Dad, And Dangerous Anthology in Books

Each story is different but with a similar theme that ties them together in this anthology. From magical un-dead cats to peacekeeping wolves, from energy vampires to changelings.
As with most anthologies, there are some stories that I prefer but that doesn't mean the others are not as good. They are all brilliant and introduced me to two new-to-me authors so I'm very happy.
This was a great read that I thoroughly enjoyed and have no hesitation in recommending.
