Nikki Massey (8 KP) rated The Bletchley Circle - Season 2 in TV

This series is split in two. In the first part, one of their fellow former colleagues is accused of murder. Can these ladies unravel the truth and prove her innocence? In the second part, as the ladies caused a few headaches for the military in uncovering their secrets and shady ways they find they have lost their security clearances so some of the women are no longer able to carry on with their jobs such as translation work. So they have to give other avenues to make money and it winds one of them up in a very sticky situation.
As before, I really warmed to the characters and was genuinely sad when one moved on to another life. I grew to love these women; I felt they were almost my friends and I actually cared for them and their outcomes.
You could feel the suspense of them closing in on the truth but realising time was running out. It really kept me gripped until the end.
I do love how they made being intelligent cool by being steps ahead of the police but also in forming such bonds with one another.
We could learn a thing or two from these ladies and their bravery.

I had never heard of any of these people or even the fyre festival until twitter literally blew up with the mess of the actual event, so I really had no clue what I was in for when I kept hearing about the two specials. And I have to be honest that I was surprised how interesting it actually was and I still can't for the life of me figure out why people kept giving the main guy who was running the scam money. I did like that they actually interviewed the guy not sure if they were trying to make you pity him or really get a first-hand impression on how big of a scum bag he was.
The main thing I wanted to see was footage from the actual festival so I was pretty disappointed that they didn't show as much as I would have like but all in all it is a good doc and I recommend it.
Each week, money is taken from my account and invested into a Stocks and Shares ISA where I can watch my savings grow. Not only this, you have the opportunity to purchase from your invested companies with special discount codes.
With any investment: there is always a risk. However, after a little bit of perseverance and some tweaks in investment percentages I'm now able to see a modest profit which will hopefully carry on.
Moneybox also offers different 'investment boosts'. Alongside your weekly investment amount you can also increase your investment on payday or round up your spending to the nearest pound to add this to your pot, too.
I've only had a positive experience with Moneybox up to now and I hope that this will continue. It's allowed me to set up a little personal savings pot with minimal effort. In my mid-twenties, if I ever make an investment loss, I'm happy to say that it would've been spent on something ridiculous anyway.
Bong Mines Entertainment (15 KP) rated Golden Boy - Single by Young Pwavy in Music

“Now you have to see that I have been chosen. We about to blow. Make it so I never have to see another day where my momma stress about the bills that she got to pay. I stay on the path that I know. The road that leads straight to the goals. Hating ‘cause you see the growth. You ain’t gonna stop me, I shine through the storm. I will never worry about these hoes. I look over my shoulder as long as it goes ” – lyrics
‘Golden Boy’ tells an interesting tale of a young man who is determined to be the best version of himself.
Apparently, he’s not worried about promiscuous women or any other distraction. His main concern is stacking money as high as he can stack it and supporting his family.
‘Golden Boy’ contains a relatable storyline and harmonious rap vocals. Also, the likable tune possesses rhythmic instrumentation scented with an urban-tropical-rap fragrance.
Young Pwavy got involved in music after his cousin played him the work he had done for other artists. His musical influences include Drake, Post Malone, and Sheckwes.

Nick Beaty (70 KP) rated Nightcrawler (2014) in Movies
Dec 14, 2019 (Updated Dec 15, 2019)
Nightcrawler is a very good movie with a strong commanding lead performance by Jake Gyllenhaal. His portrayal of Louis Bloom is slick, manipulative and at times borderline psychotic.
Louis Bloom is a loner desperately looking for work. That is until he hears there is money to be made from shooting crime & accident scenes for L.A. news stations. He starts off small time but as the film unfolds he shows he is willing to do anything to reach the very top of this certain profession.
His Character is incredibly unlikable from the very first scene but Gyllenhaal plays the part so well that you can't take your eyes off the screen, no matter how much you will want to at times.
There are a few scenes that may upset people but I think it is more a statement that in today's news, people will go to any lengths to get that top story.
In summary Nightcrawler is a very entertaining movie, which keeps grabbing your attention and holding you firmly there when it's got you, with intense, nervous, even excited energy... Definitely worth a watch.
