"This song is very blue, it makes me cry a lot. The bass line is very heavy. It's like facing yourself, facing your problems and your issues: Who are you? What are you looking for? What would you like to achieve? This is song is very important to me. I still listen to it, when I'm not feeling good. 'Wari' means 'money'. When you make money, you can really forget your past. You can forget your mum, you can forget your father. You can become someone else. The lyrics are very deep. It's advising you: money is good but never forget where you come from, never forget your soul, never forget your spirit, your family. Be yourself.
Women are used to talking about society, children, our husbands, emancipation, money. They teach you to be humble, to go back to your roots. Never be somebody else, fight to be yourself. It's a good message for what we're doing, always being in a different hotel, taking the plane everyday. I needed those women."

"One of the most prolific writers in history, Simenon is best known for his crime novels featuring the detective Maigret. “I’ll manufacture Fords for a while until enough money comes in,” he said once, “Then I’ll make Rolls-Royces for pleasure.” Dirty Snow is a Rolls. A slender novel about a petty criminal living in a nameless occupied city, this book punches well above its weight class."

Awix (3310 KP) rated Floor is Lava in TV

Floor is Lava
2020 | Game Show
Utterly moronic game show in which squawking trios of over-achieving gym-bunnies try to make their way across various rooms which have carelessly been allowed to part-fill with volcanic lava. Teams that do it in the fastest time with fewest casualties get some money and a lava lamp (ha! ha!).

Maybe this is the kind of entertainment we deserve in 2020, I don't know. Does make me laugh a lot, though: there is undeniable entertainment value in watching annoying people humiliate and/or injure themselves in pursuit of a cash reward. Point knocked off for not using real lava.

I love how they scream "NOOOOOOO!!!!" when a teammate falls in the lava and I find myself regularly shouting at the idiots who just stand back and wait for someone else to cover most of the room when they should be moving too. Great show

"That’s a cheat. I’ll cheat because my Dad directed it and I love cowboy movies and that was sort of a reboot of the cowboy genre because at the time, when he was going to make it, they (the studios) were like no, Westerns will never make money. And it comes out and it’s the number one movie out there. He’s a cowboy — my dad IS a cowboy — so he was the right guy to do that and he did it with a bunch of the kids I grew up with: Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen — those kids are just… It was amazing."

The movie would have been much better if i had not read the book first. Ive read it atleast 15 times before i watched the movie and it did not do it justice. But its understandable though. It would take to much time and money to completely make the book into reality. Also most things would be pretty hard to recreate that you had imagined while reading the book.

I'm addicted
I can't stop playing this game. It's fun because you can choose furniture and decorations to make a nice living space. You win some items based on voting from other players. You can even purchase the real furniture for your own home if you were so inclined. The only disappointing features are that you have to earn the game money to purchase things for your next room so sometimes your design might not be exactly how you'd want. Also it really hogs memory. Otherwise, I really enjoy the creativity and the challenge.

"The reality is, the movies that were most impactful to me growing up, when I decided I wanted to make movies, I was going to see Woody Allen double features with my brother, back when they had double features. Younger audiences today, they don’t even know what that word means. But they would show two Woody Allen movies back to back. Bananas. Take the Money and Run, that era of Woody Allen."

Good, but boring
Wanted to fall asleep after our characters reached the ship. First two movies were fun, hilarious. This one...i felt that it was forced, like no one wanted to make it, but had to because it would get them money. Story and choices characters made were dull. This movie should be watched only if you want to see your favorite characters again, but don't expect it to entertain you.

How far would you go when your desperate?
This was a fun movie, it reminded me a lot of that movie called Nerve. You do more and more dangerous dates for more money. It does beg the question "How far would you go when your desperate for money?"

This resulted in some extreme moments which I never saw coming. It was written well with an excellent cast. I can never take David Koechner seriously in anyovie he does but he does have a certain creep factor about him.

I like how contained it was. It was mainly set inside 1 house. It didn't go too crazy or extreme with too much money on the line. It went far enough with a believable amount of $250,000 overall. I feel the less money being offered, the more it felt desperate and extreme. It does make me think there may be some rich people out there who get off on this kind of thing.

There are definitely some "look away" moments which is good for this kind of movie and there was a decent amount of gore.

Definitely worth a watch and this was 1 of those movies that I only paid £1 for the blu ray. Can't argue with that.
