SAVING GRACE is a tense, fast-paced, psychological thriller that tells the story of a woman who has been under 'care' for forty years. The ultimate victim of gas-lighting and ulterior motives. It starts with her weaning herself off the tablets prescribed in the hope of reigniting her marriage. What happens next is straight out of the pages of a novel!

Separated into three parts, you get a clear and concise view of just where Grace is. To begin with, I wasn't sure if her husband WAS actually trying to kill her or if it was just an effect of the tablets. Soon I was caught up in a web of lies that had me enthralled.

This is a great thriller that shows just how hard it can be for men and women who have had a gas lighter in their lives! A drama to sink your teeth in with a strong and plentiful supporting cast.

A wonderful read and definitely recommended by me.

This is the story of Matthias and Danae, rulers of their countries, aligned in a political marriage that Danae hopes will become the real thing. She has had a 'crush' on Matthias for years, but he was happily married. Matthias is the one to marry Danae due to the fact that his wife died and his son, who was supposed to marry her, has disappeared.

This is an exceptional story, with undercurrents all the way through that will grip and entice you. The steamy scenes were certainly hot, but different to Nicola Cameron's other works. A lot more was left to the reader's imagination, which was a good thing for this book. I found the 'traitor' before the name was revealed, HOWEVER, it still came as a surprise, especially with the reasons given behind it. That is how well this book is written!

With a steady and flowing pace, this book with entice you from start to finish. Absolutely recommended and thoroughly enjoyed.

Fatal Flowers
When Kate Ludlow's marriage ended, she packed up her teenage daughter and moved from Southern California back to her hometown in Connecticut. She also went about turning her part time gig as a wedding planner into a full business, hustling to prove herself to her new customer base. The florist she works with the most is Lori-Sue, which can be awkward since the two have a history dating back to high school. So when Kate finds Lori-Sue's body one day, she also finds herself the prime suspect. Naturally nosey, Kate gets involved. Can she clear her name?

This debut sounded fun, so I was looking forward to it. It starts out well, with Kate finding the body quickly. However, the further I went into the book, the more I struggled with it. The plot seemed disjointed at times, but connections are made at the end. Meanwhile, we learn things late in the book about Kate that would have been nice to learn earlier. Finally, the climax only works because Kate is stupid. On the other hand, I really did like the characters, and the cliffhanger is intriguing. Still, I think I will probably pass on the sequel, unfortunately.
