This was my first Mary Higgins Clark novel. I found several on the giveaway table of my apartment. I finished this one today. I love they way she strings her words together.

As usual, Mary Higgins-Clark does NOT disappoint!! This story just flowed so easily I could not put it down! Huge fan and really love the older couple that have been appearing in her books lately! Somehow brings them all together.

Mary Higgins Clark and Alafair Burke are never a disappointment!! The only disappointment is when the book ends and I have to wait for one of their next novels to com out. This was a great read with good plot twists!! Can't wait to see what happens in the next installment!!

Okay, I didn't hate this book as much as I thought I would but that doesn't mean much. As anyone that follows my reviews will notice, I do not read mysteries. When I do read a mystery it is for book club and inevitably I find it dull. This book was no different. I would give this book a 2.5 star rating so I rounded up to 3.

The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency made me reminiscent of Agatha Christie & Mary Higgins Clark. So if you enjoy those authors, I'm sure that you would enjoy this author. There was mystery but no suspense so it seemed to drag on for me. I borrowed this book from the library but after reading 5 pages into the book, I had to switch to the audiobook so that I could force myself to read the rest of the book.

Not going to lie, this reminded me a lot of Winnie the Pooh. If you think about it, Winnie the Pooh was always looking to solve a mystery and each chapter or episode/15 minute segment was a new mystery. This is very similar to this book.

All in all, I will not continue on in this series.

Two Little Girls In Blue By: Mary Higgins Clark
Adult Mystery 322 Pages

This book was not disappointing in keeping you wanting to know what was going on. Another 5 star read for me.

This book is about two twin girls who are kidnapped on the evening of their third birthday. Both parents go out that evening to a black tie event and when they get back the baby sitter is out cold and the girls are gone.
There is a ransom note asking for 8 million dollars. The couple do not have this kind of money. How will they get this kind of money to get their girls back unharmed. The police and FBI are called. Why did the kidnappers chose this family. Who are the kidnappers.
The book tells how events are unfolded and how he girls are talking to each other in what their parents call twin talk. This is very important to know but I won't tell how.
This is a mystery book and I don't want to give too much away. You really should read this book and any other book by her. She does a great job in spinning a tale.
I have read almost all of her books and have never been disappointed.
