Family Ties was one of my favorite shows when I was younger. Always had a good lesson in each episode and Michael J Fox is just great in any show/movie he's in. Very funny too.

Western setting
Fitting end to the trilogy setting it in western works in my opinion my favourite of the two sequels. Both fox and Lloyd are excellent plus the rest of the cast especially mary steenburgen as browns love interest overall good movie good end to the trilogy

Michael seemed miscast
After rewatching this film recently, it seemed to me Michael J. Fox was trying to hard to show his dramatic range which worked well in Casualties of War, but not this film.
Michael stars as an alcoholic/drug addict who can't do anything right in relationships or his job.
Maybe if the story would've been more engaging I wouldn't have minded as much. Not bad, but kind of forgettable as well.
