Lee KM Pallatina (951 KP) rated Jumanji: The Next Level (2019) in Movies
Aug 2, 2020
More and less of the same
Jumanji 2 (or 3 depending on how you look at it) continues where the previous instalment left off.
Bored of the way things are one of the teens decides to return to Jumanji....eventually followed by his friends on a rescue mission, followed by two grumpy, senile old men (Danny devito & danny glover) who's characters not only change the the pace of the movie but add a fresh batch of humour.
The movie was quite solid and was much better than I expected although felt like some plot was missing at times. But plenty of entertainment & laughs.

Micah Ulibarri (79 KP) rated Star Wars #46: Mutiny at Mon Cala Part III in Books
Apr 19, 2018
I'm really enjoying where this series is going. This particular issue was very good even if it did feel like it was missing that "X Factor". I really enjoyed the Mission Impossible spy thriller feel that the book is taking on and I'm really excited to see where it will continue to go.

Feb 15, 2019
Not as interesting or promising as it sounds, yet there's still some good information to be found even if there isn't enough detail for at least half the how-to's (probably a very good idea) and there are a few minor editing errors (e.g. their instead of they're, numbered lists missing a digit).

Auburn (57 KP) rated Finding Leda, the Science of Happiness (The Italian Saga #5) in Books

A continuation. If you have not read the other series you may be confused. It took me awhile to figure out what was happening and who everyone was. I enjoyed the writing but just didn't enjoy the story because the characters seemed already developed and I felt like I was missing something.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2346 KP) rated Nate the Great in Books

A kid's picture book about a neighborhood sleuth. Here, he searches for Annie's missing painting of her dog. Humor for adults and a mystery that kids can solve make this a winner.
