"Finished this one last week and forgot to mark, but I loved it. I ended up taking a massive break for several months because I'm such a mood reader but I really have always loved this one. I remember missing the magic as a teen since Umbridge was being Umbridge but the last act remains one of the most exciting in the series. And I was really happy to get to revisit the scene where Harry talks to Nearly Headless Nick about why some wizards become ghosts and why most don't. I always wanted that scene in the movie, but it's beautifully done in the book. Also loved the extensive conversation between Harry and Dumbledore, which was also reasonably shortened in the film. #AdamRereadsHP"

This story is told from multiple perspectives, but I think Gabe is the protagonist of this novel. He is absolutely crushed man, his wife was murdered, and his daughter is missing, even though everyone tries to convince Gabe that Izzy is dead, Gabe refuses to accept it, because he saw her that day in the rusty car. There are many various characters in this book, and they tell their own stories, but it is incredible how the author knitted their stories into one, a beautiful and absorbing masterpiece. The characters are so complex and intriguing. In the beginning, I was left guessing, why this random service station waitress is sharing her life story? But the more I read, the more addicted I got.

Experiment Gone Wrong
Murders in the Rue Morgue- didnt come out in 1971, it came out in 1932. @Smashbomb should fix that. Anways it was a intresting movie. Bela Lugosi as this evil mysterious doctor was good.

The plot: In 1845 Paris, mysterious Dr. Mirakle (Bela Lugosi) demonstrates his theories on evolution using his ape, Erik, at a carnival visited by medical student Pierre Dupin (Leon Waycoff) and his girlfriend, Camille Espanaye (Sidney Fox). Unknown to his audience, Mirakle performs experiments in his secret laboratory that involve mixing human blood with that of Erik's. After three prostitutes are found dead from being injected with a strange substance, Pierre is alarmed when Camille goes missing.

It mixes sci-fi and horror togther.

This isn't the type of film I normally watch but the cast swung me. It's the type of film that will win awards for the costume department and production. Saoirse Ronan really carries the film and without her I would score it a bit lower. Margot Robbie is sadly under used in this.
Tied up in a political, religious and royal game of real life chess as to whom will be heir to the throne of England. There is plenty of scheming and treason by both Royal courts. It's interesting but also at times a little dull. If you like slow period dramas you'll love it, if not you're not missing much.
