Since the Matrix, this is one of the first live action VR/AR movies to be made. And very well made it has been. While clearly needing to use a heck of a lot of green screen and digital editing, it is done almost masterfully so that you can tell that it is there, which is not something that can be said for other heavily digitised movies.

This movie incorporates the idea of VR and AR wonderfully, although it leans more towards VR than AR. I enjoyed the many aspects of movie even from my own home.

It shows characters and ideas from such a wide variety of franchises yet the unique design style of the movie makes so that none of them look out of place. This is shown particularly well in the final battle where you can definitely see The Iron Giant fighting along side one of THE original Mobile Suit G.U.N.D.A.M.

Overall, I think that this was a well thought out movie that could potentially be the start of the new VR/AR theme movies and series.

Issue 600, plus
This 4-issue collection circles ASM #600 and Aunt May's wedding to J. Jonah Jameson Sr. While there is a lot of creative talent here, many of the stories involve peripheral stuff. Half of the book focuses on Uncle Ben's method of raising Peter, how Ben and May met, the Spider-Mobile, playground kids verbalizing what it would be like to be Spider-Man, Jessica Jones' inspiration, and a tongue-in-cheek couch session for Spidey's changes over the years. All of it is well- handled...just not my first choice for superhero reading.

The book really shines in two stories in particular. The first, "Peter Parker Must Die" has Peter dealing with a Ben Reilly repercussion called Raptor. The second,"Last Legs", contains the return of a physically inferior Doc Ock that wants the leave a lasting legacy. This issue was really good, and even the follow-up, which was a wedding aftermath issue due to a surprise wedding guest, was pretty entertaining.

Games are WAY too expensive. (0 more)
I've played the Switch before, with my bro and my cousins. I was hesitant on buying one myself, since I have limited time to play video games. I was also hesitant because I have a 3DS. For Christmas, my bro bought me a Switch, and I've been making time to play it.
I've owned/played a lot of consoles in my life, starting with the NES. Nintendo, of course, keeps a choke hold on their original characters and games, such as Mario, Kirby, Legends of Zelda, Pokemon, and the list goes on.
The controllers are awkward if you're playing on the TV, but when the console is mobile, they feel natural in your hands. Thus far, I've only played Zelda, which I love.
A major con is that the games are so dang expensive. Zelda is at least 3 years old and is still nearly 60 bucks. I need to do more exploring on the eShop for indie games and whatnot.
Overall, I do like it slightly better than the 3DS and the Wii.

I got a Switch last year, been a Nintendo guy all my life since the NES. Totally agree on the game price - I had Breath of the Wild on WiiU but have been hoping for a price drop so that I can get the Switch version. I’ve been making good use of the recent Nintendo sales though 😊
