Unusal Treatment
The Jacket- is a good psychological thriller that has good horror elements in it. It does mess with your mind.

The plot: Amnesiac Gulf War veteran Jack Starks (Adrien Brody) can't explain why he's been found at the scene of a murder. Ordered to a mental hospital, Jack is subjected to Dr. Thomas Becker's (Kris Kristofferson) unusual treatment plan, which involves mysterious injections, sensory deprivation and confinement in a straitjacket. Locked away on his own, Jack discovers he can travel to the future, where he's compelled to help a onetime acquaintance (Keira Knightley) and investigate his own odd fate.

It does has a really good cast, it is a slow pace film in the beginning but does pick up in the middle.

So overall a good psychological thriller.

"I love Banana to bits, but the third one is my favourite, it’s the one that I play more. I don’t know exactly what it is about it. I bought their albums in order, but there was something about ‘Candy Says’ and ‘Jesus’ – maybe because I’d just got the White Light/White Heat album I wanted proper songs, and he delivered big time on this one. Even ‘Murder Mystery’ I like. I’m not the biggest John Cale fan, his voice gets on my wick. It was just at the time that Ziggy ended, it almost broke my heart. I had these magical split-second things – it was like being in love, but with someone from Venus, and then Lou came along and I knew he would get me through it."

Did you ever wonder what happened to Encyclopedia Brown after puberty? This film tries to explain one path his life could have taken. Abe Applebaum still runs a detective agency out of an office set up for him when his treehouse office was vandalized. His life fell apart when his friend and secretary went missing, and the town did not use his skills to solve the crime. He turned to drugs and alcohol and has no concept of time. His parents still bankroll his detecting career, but are about to cut him off. Now, a teenage girl wants to hire him to solve the murder of his boyfriend even though he has never worked an actual crime before. This had been in my Tbr pile for so long and I finally got round to it. So glad I did! Having those shifters all collared up is pretty brutal! I enjoyed her take on shifter life it had a strong story and strong characters. I’m looking forward to seeing the new little shifter and finding how they all develop with the change in leadership! Definitely one for shifter lovers!!
