Good Lord. I came back to this book with the new film approaching rapidly and I couldn't put it down (so to speak). Weber nailed the narration and the story is every bit as frightening and evocative as it was when I was younger. This is Stephen King at his finest, and definitely one that you should just experience for yourself. Whether you've read it on print, seen the 90s TV special, or are seeing the film later this year, picking up this audiobook is still highly recommended.

"I grew up watching western films, and for someone to slow down the pacing to a sort of a western drama — I just thought was so incredibly well done. The acting in it was absolutely phenomenal. The cinematography of it was beautiful. The tone, the production — just everything about it. Go down the list of everything about all the departments of a film and I feel like everybody nailed it on that one — just knocked it out of the park. It’s just such a beautiful piece of film to watch. Sometimes I like to just play it in the background with the volume off — just to be looking at the imagery of it. Oh, man. Watch it with the lights off. It’s awesome."

This is truly one of the best, and most beautiful shows ever created. Jonah Hill and Emma Stone both step into roles outside of their respective "wheel houses" and completely nailed it in both cases.

Approaching mental health in film has proven a difficult task in the past, with some exception of course. But I've never seen it done so beautifully and with such a seeming of understanding.

I believe that this show is the best sci fi show Netflix has produced, possibly the best show it has produced overall. Please don't sleep on this one. It starts slow, but you won't be able to look away after a bit.

I really enjoyed this one. I found it to be timely, relevant, and insightful. It was all well researched and I think most women can relate to Charlotte as a woman juggling family and career and life while trying to keep it all from falling apart.

It also brings to the forefront the very real differences faced by women who enter the political arena, from the focus on their attire to questions about their family and kids, that men aren't subjected to.

Overall, Jo Piazza nailed it yet again with Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys political fiction!

**Many thanks to Elizabeth Breeden and Simon & Schuster, as well as NetGalley, for the digital ARC!! All opinions are my own.**
