Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Game Of Thrones - Season 2 in TV
Jul 10, 2017
This season shows the appearance of wizards and the big premiere of the creepy White Walkers. It is smart that the series slowly adds these fantasy aspects because it could turn off some viewers with the negative “nerd” connotations that go with fantasy.

Erika (17789 KP) rated Guns, Germs and Steel in Books
Jan 27, 2021
As a history nerd, with a degree in history, I can't believe I waited until now to read this book. I think it was deemed 'too new' when I was in high school/college to be included in the curriculum.
The book obviously is about guns, germs, and steel, and compares/contrasts civilizations throughout the world. It was an interesting angle, and I really liked it.

Auburn (57 KP) rated 99% Faking It in Books

Fake it till you make it and let your nerd flag fly. This book is everything a nerdy bookish girl could ever dream of. The plot is simple but for anyone who dreams of a nerdy happily ever after this is a one sitting read. References to popular book stores and fandoms make it that much more enjoyable.
