STACKED is the second book in the Mars Fitness series and it's time for the friendly front-of-desk man's story - Sawyer. He's living with his best friend, Preston, and has been since college. Sawyer has been in love with him for years but knows it's not going anywhere as Preston is straight. So he decides to move on with Fitz, a new guy in town. Preston is none too happy about that but doesn't know why. That's when things really start moving.

This was an engrossing read and I loved seeing the awakenings on both sides. I could also completely understand Fitz's anger but he was a good character and I hope he gets his HEA too. I'm still not sure any of the labels fit Preston - he's in a category all of his own. Preston was a favourite character as I loved reading his internal thoughts. It was funny how people could insult him and that was okay but don't even think about insult Sawyer!

A great addition to the series. It didn't work for me as much as Ripped did but it was still a great story and recommended by me.

POSE FOR ME is a standalone dark romance with a Daddy/boy relationship. And trust me when I say that's the most normal thing about the book!

What we have here is a book about a serial killer who kidnaps the FBI agent who is hunting for him, and both of them getting more than they thought they would. And when I say serial killer, I mean someone who kills people just because... they're not bad people, or have done bad things. They're just in the wrong place, at the wrong time, catching the eye for whatever reason of the wrong person.

My favourite part of a Daddy/boy romance is the caretaking aspect of it, and this had that in spades, even though you may think it unlikely. I've read others, but none hit the mark as much as caretaking, and this had everything. Possessiveness, neediness, lingerie, c0ckwarming, it's all here and I loved every moment.

I read this book in one sitting and couldn't put it down. I loved every word, and now I need to find the other book mentioned so I can read that too. Absolutely brilliant and definitely recommended by me.

THE DAWN OF PEACE is a prequel novella in the Etherya's Earth series. It introduces us to the two main characters, whilst also meeting other main characters for the first time.

Kilani is a strong woman, a brilliant warrior, and relegated to organising functions at her father's request because women aren't allowed to join the army or have a mind of their own. Alrec is a Vampyire who has lost his whole family and swore to avenge them. These two meet in a meadow one evening when Alrec is there to raid the Slayer men. They fight and Alrec lets Kilani live. Sometime later, Kilani returns the favour, and mutual respect and trust begin to flourish between these two.

I loved this story! It was fast-paced but had enough attention to detail to keep me satisfied. The only trouble I have now is I want to read The End of Hatred again to see if they feature in that. The world-building is second to none, with plentiful descriptions and situations to keep everyone's attention.

If this had been the first book in the series I had read, it would definitely have pushed me to read more. Absolutely brilliant and definitely recommended by me.

Regina turns up in Diego's care after her last pack wanted rid of her. She has a very large chip on her shoulder and as the story progresses, you find out exactly why. Regina is a prickly character to start with but, you know what, that absolutely suited her.

I will admit, I thought I'd started the wrong book when I read the prologue but it all ties together perfectly. The character and world-building in this book are second to none. Everything slots into place but not without difficulties arising from miscommunication, circumstances etc.

One thing that I need to emphasise right now is just how good this shifter world is!! The ties that bind them are so strong. You learn a lot about 'pack life' and can imagine it being just this way. The explanations given on vampires, on how silver hurts the shifter, on how pack law rules are the only way, just fantastic!

This is a chunky book which I am so thankful for! This is a book to lose yourself in, to immerse yourself in and to thoroughly enjoy! Take your time with this book and enjoy every single word. Highly recommended!
