How could anyone not love this series??? I started reading the books at 15. Been hooked ever since. My least fave is OOTP though.

I liked this book, but not as much as the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. Some of the main characters from that series do carry over into this new series. The story is based at Camp Half-Blood, but I wasn't as hooked into the plot as I was with the other series. That being said I will continue to read the forthcoming books in the series so I guess it wasn't that bad.

I loved this book!!
I believe I have read all the books in this series and I was curious when Gen would get her own story. This story can be read as a stand alone I think, it mentions previous events but not in a way that make you confused :)
I highly recommend reading this book (and series).

This book wasn't as good as the other 2 prequel novels in this series. It was short, but still took me awhile to get in to. I, hoping the second "real" book in the series is better. If not, I just might be done reading them.
